  1. As far as I can remember the forum crash wiped out almost all accounts created from around mid October 2012 to April 2013. edit: For anyone interested I had a look and the last account created before the wipe was jeroenhoi98 on the 19th of October 2012. The first account created after the wipe was Arestris on the 18th April 2013.
  2. There is no way for you too get a steam key for your purchase on the website, you will have to buy the game again if you want to download it through steam.
  3. As far as I can recall you can see your available contracts by clicking on one of the buttons to the bottom right of the screen in both the VAB and the SPH.
  4. I believe it was reverted to some point in early October the previous year, so around 6-7 months of data was lost.
  5. Apparently there is a grace period for old space plane parts, where both spaceplane plus and legacy parts are going to be in game for 0.25.
  6. Nothing revealed so far, he is going to show it at the end of the stream.
  7. That isn't so much an airplane, as it is a monstrosity. Is that all to get one Kerbal into space? If so then that is way to big. Follow Pecan's advice for airplanes, however the problem that you have with not lifting before the end of the runway can be fixed by moving the landing gear to just behind the centre of lift.
  8. You may struggle to find the Magic Boulder in any of these releases, on account of it not being introduced until at least 0.17, when the rest of the planets were released.
  9. Apparently it's a problem that squad will fix. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/86395-The-Grand-0-24-Discussion-Thread?p=1281714#post1281714
  10. You could use a radial decoupler to create your own launch towers, that would be one use. But yeah the contracts are procidural, so you are bound to get some funny ones come up at some point.
  11. I felt a bit burnt out from the game, so I haven't played for about a month and a half. I'm going to get back into it as soon as the next update is released.
  12. Same TARDIS, different time rotor colour. Does anyone else not hear the a in "am I a good man". Every time I hear it it sounds like he says "Am I good man".
  13. It is prefered due to the effeciency that it has compared to the other engines in the game, except the ion engine. This means that you have more delta-V to work with. Thrust to weight doesn't matter to much while in orbit.
  14. Moho had an atmosphere in 0.17 that used to make engines overheat, however it was removed in 0.18.
  15. You know I really did like Endeavour, but as that doesn't seem to be an option I will have to go with Atlantis.
  16. It came from the recent dev blog and we'll be told what it is about soon.
  17. I agree that once you know what you are looking for it is easy to find, however the amount of information on that page is significant and on a first look through you might miss the download link, or confuse it with the download for something else.
  18. I agree that it is reasonably unclear. To download the number 4 essential mod you need to make sure you have downloaded all the essential mods on that page, then scroll down to the first picture you see. There should be a download link directly below the picture.
  19. In general quite a lot of mods will release new updates soon after a new update is released. Each mod responds differently to a new update, some won't work and some will be fine. However it is likely you will have to reinstall a significant number of mods.
  20. Surely the second point just proves that the detection system for spammers is good, in that it doesn't allow them access in the first place, rather than retrospectively banning them.
  21. What you can do is start a new save, then open your persistence file. After this an option near the top underneath the flight line should say CanQuickSave = True. Change the True to False and do the same with the next line down. This should disable quicksave/quickload.
