I dont think it would be too complicated, alot of parents here are letting their 4-9 year olds play it and they seem to grasp it well. This forum, and game especially, keeps giving me more and more hope for humanity because of stuff like this.

Show off your awesome KSP pictures!
Dr. Muttonstache replied to NuclearWarfare's topic in KSP Fan Works
This thing carries no engines at all. No fuel. Just by flapping of the control surfaces, this thing can reach over 700 m/s at 1000 m. And the landspeed record achieved? Possibly G force record achieved? And one of those flying saucers on the Mun! (part flew off of my lander in such a fashion it looked like a flying saucer, flew into orbit around the mun, pretty neat!) -
You ever have one of those son of a bunny moments??
Dr. Muttonstache replied to michaelphoenix22's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Words need not to describe these Except this one maybe, where i've gotten to the point I crash things into the SPH -
Devs: Thanks, on behalf of my eight-year-old

That small thing got to a nice orbit, I guess i'm building too big of rockets then! And with that said you have made my girlfriend happy to know that I've changed my mind about not having children, you just gave me hope man, thanks. ...maybe in a few years though, after college and a stable job -
Yeah okay, you guys lose big time. It counts, right? It was part of a car!

What would you like to see on kerbin?
Dr. Muttonstache replied to tom1499's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Which one are we talking about here, Birds of Prey or 1946? Either or, anything big would cause some lag, a good idea would to keep it minimal, and farther away from the KSC to minimize takeoff lag. I think the best route to go would be to have some small scattered villages/towns across Kerbin, with runways, to have an additional, fun use of the SPH! This is what i'm trying to get across, I like your style, ringer, minus the kerbal part. That could get iffy. -
Disabling torque on command pods?
Dr. Muttonstache replied to Dr. Muttonstache's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Thanks, i'll be sure to do that. -

Dr. Muttonstache replied to tom1499's topic in KSP1 Discussion
This, with some kickass auroras, since I do enjoy making polar bases... -
On manned rovers, i've noticed that whenever I try to hold "w" to move forward with the wheels, the motors spin, but so does the command pod, resulting in an awkward frontflip that could be disastrous. Is there any way to disable the torque on the command pods, but still able to roll the wheels? Could I map the rover wheel controls to a different key?

Dr. Muttonstache replied to Nikolai's topic in KSP1 Discussion
And then that moment when your 8 year old daughter speaks better English than a typical 18 year old girl. Gives me hope for the future, that there will be less swagyolo420f**kschoolparty24/7 people running around, and that more people are getting interested in space. Good work , Nikolai! -

Granted. Now all of Comedy Central is now puns. I wish I had a corn-dog making machine. -
Hah. Turns out the asteroid is planning on doing the same thing.

I want to learn how to build a space station

The trick about docking is getting an encounter (aunching at the right time ect.). From there its really easy. -
Someone suggest me an audiobook for KSP.
Dr. Muttonstache replied to mushroomman's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Now this isn't a audiobook ,but a podcast. Just look up the Joe Rogan Experience, he sometimes has guests like Neil DeGrasse Tyson and Graham Hancock, though by far his best guest is Duncan Trussell. Topics include but are not limited to: The Universe, Fart Theory, Stoned Ape Theory, and other things. It's great, just go have a listen. -
That's pretty badass, quick, someone make an addon!

Suddenly, an update, .20 arrives, and breaks your mod! Devs say there will never be weapons in KSP! World peace forever! Yay!

Dr. Muttonstache replied to Dr. Muttonstache's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I actually used this on my rover last night before you posted this, it worked pretty well. -
If Eve would be considered a class Y planet...
Dr. Muttonstache replied to Stelith61's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Not to mention it requires the debug menu to fly. -
KSP's music is good, but it's nothing compaired to Mass Effect 3's.
