  1. Multiple monitor support if not all ready built into KSP would be very nice for readouts as well.
  2. Oh Noes. Squad fixed something.... So terrible........... Dre4dW0rm Please fill out this form asap. Thank's squad. You guy's do a great job
  3. Some updates for today: Research and Development - Max 22 points Launch and dock an unkerballed Orion Block 1 to the orbiting space station, for use as a lifeboat (+2) Use an Ares I in at least one space station docking mission (+1) Note, this station is in a 130 km by 130 km orbit around Kerban and I used Mechjeb for only data readouts.
  4. I'm still working on my Duna mission. Just have been having unfortunate raging experiences with the SLS boosters clipping the main stage, and taking out my orbital insertion booster at 15,000 ft or so so I had to take a short break from KSP.
  5. Just a quick update. I have started early design work on my Duna return vehicle. This thing on top of the SLS style rocket is a beast, although the rocket is not the final design that I intend to use it is very over developed and in theory it should be able to return from Duna's surface to orbit and dock with the mother ship as a ssto vehicle. For my mission architecture I intend to develop a separate vehicle that can deliver two rovers to Duna, the Duna Return Vehicle, as well as a manned lander that will remain on the surface as a Outpost Variant Duna return vehicle prototype on top of a SLS rocket. A surplus orbital insertion booster with plenty of fuel left over in the main tank is left in low Kerban orbit. It will remain here until it is needed for future uses. Note, Mechjeb during this launch was only used for data readouts.
  6. Considering most of my designs are based off of real life rockets with a proven track record, yes.
  7. This is the beauty of 64 bit, and why you should love it instead of hate it as once you get above the 3.2 gb - 3.5 gb limit that was imposed by the 32 bit version you can keep on going. My machine runs a windows operating system and has 24 gb worth of ram and there were times in the 32 bit version where the game was crashing because of the artificially imposed ram limit that was a staple of 32 bit programs. I haven't kept up with developments in the Mac world for a very long time, but I've got to ask does the modern mac operating system have 64 bit support? and how much ram does your mac have?
  8. 1500 DV? or 1500 Delta V? I'm confused. Which is it supposed to be?
  9. For those who are saying that it is not possible I should remind you all that Von Braun successfully launched two small test rockets in 1934 while a part of the Verein für Raumschiffahrt aka the Society for Space Travel. Also the V2 was mostly developed in the mid to late 1930's, with the design being finished in 1937 well before the civilian rocket program was militarized and as we recall the V2 was the first rocket launched into space. Now of course if you want to do anything on that scale you would require A: lots of money, or B: the backing of a corporation or government. Had things played out differently in Germany during the interwar period it is quite possible that the Society for Space Travel could have successfully launched a V2 rocket in the early to mid 1940's.
  10. I've decided to restart with the release of 0.24. Mainly to take advantage of the 64 bit support that is now available.
  11. What about a remote command pod on the boosters? - that way when it is detached it is technically a "second ship" and shouldn't vanish at the 2.5 km limit.
  12. They currently crew my main space station in Kerban orbit, the KSS.
  13. I should remind people that you paid for the privilege of testing a incomplete product. Squad has no obligation of adding any particular content no matter how vocal the community is about it, and in the case of resources I'm willing to have that axed if it was a grindy boring system and I am looking forward to multiplayer and trolling my friends creations much more then I ever looked forward to mining. I don't want to go digging for ore(s) and drilling for multiple kinds of fuel(s) to build rockets, and if I do feel the need of adding that kind of difficulty later on there's always the option of Kethane or I can play minecraft.
