  1. Nope, but it would pay of sometimes. On my last moon mission I was so happy to notice that I actually get home with the fuel left, until I noticed that I forgot the parachutes for landing. I managed to get the crew back home though with a second craft that picked them up in orbit. :->
  2. I edited my first post, the craft file is now linked at the bottom of the post.
  3. If you leave both front and rear wheels steered its good to drive, with only the front wheels steering it kind of gets a turn radius of a house.
  4. I have to say I did not max it out yet. Its powered by the wheels I would think they are the limit. That would be another nice thing to add to the Kerbal space center: A rover test circuit and maybe some nice combustion engines(It's a joke don´t worry). X-)
  5. Because its rather heavy it does not flip that easy. Not anything like my space worthy vehicles I built before. Might also be because of the spoilers, who knows. I did only loose the wheels once, that was because I jumped over the landing strip at Kerbal Space Center.
  6. The car is completely electrical of course. In terms of Formula 1 it is powered by KERS(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kinetic_energy_recovery_system) KERS ... almost sounds like a Kerbal invention too. X-) That might be why they are not very successful.
  7. ... they got a racing team! The team is not very successfully because their car is based on scrap parts found lying by the side of the road. Though it is still considered to be the most stylish way of driving around Kerbal space center. "Proudly" introducing the KRT(Kerbal Racing Team) / F1-2013 Edit: Here at last the craft File: http://www.file-upload.net/download-7655008/KRT_F1-2013.craft.html Sorry that it took me so long to put it up, I honestly did not expect this demand. =) With kind regards Markus
  8. Hello again and thanks for the kind words guys. =) @Captain Kalawang: Woah, the 2.5 seems to take a serious RCS stabilizer to keep going straight. Nice videos anyway. ;-)
  9. After seeing this thing go in its latest test flight in the news I just had to recreate it in KSP. =) Imagine my surprise noticing the design worked for me too on the very first try. If you like to try it remember its no fighter-jet, it will tear itself apart if you do anything foolish. (Like enabling ASAS in time warp ^^) WhiteKnightTwo.craft Download
