Currently for the winged pack you can either use those fuel pumps you see me land beside in the video on the jet pack thread. Snjo made that little addon with Kerbtown. OR you can dockmode magnet with KAS to fuel it if you dont want to install a fuel pump. A new version of the wing pack is in concept right now thats being built with in-flight refueling possibilities, and a few ideas are being worked on for a docking node on the vertical pack. Cheebsta is just busy right now -
Nope the mod comes with its own plugin, just unzip it all into the game data folder
-
It does. It's also supposed to have screenshots, but its spaceport, cut it some slack lol. It tries so hard!

"Sunshine" movie style Deployable Light Globe (updated 25/10/2013)
HoY replied to alexustas's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
link to vanguard plugin is pasted in incorrectly in post 1 -
these ones need oxygen to run unfortunately, eve has none of this. There is another pack in the works that uses an airship type baloon and electric pusher propeller for use on eve and duna however. no ETA
-
Sounds good also, it may or may not be common knowledge, but you can place objects on any and every celestial body, not just Kerbin
-
You can download the jet packs now http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/kerbolquest-jetpacks/
-
Btw, you can still use kerbtown to do every part of your plan, except perhaps the faked in sprite cable. The orbiting satellite can be placed on the surface of kerbin at the exact same location as the base station, only offset the proper altitude. Kerbtown also let's you teleport kerbals, in case you wanted to just have them step into an elevator on the ground and step off of the elevator at the orbiting station instead.

I didnt know that was added to this DLL, that was supposed to stay out of this release. Next time RazChek is online we will have it changed, until then it shouldnt be too obstructive
-
If you surface mount Any of the packs or the glider they have a built in decoupler on their back. Decoupler activates when you stage, at the same time as the engine unless you do it via right click easiest way to launch it from the ground. PS: BE PREPARED TO KILL A LOT OF KERBALS!!
-
The DLL is All Rights Reserved belonging to the two coders RazChek and Snjo. I do believe you can use the DLL with proper credit, but not copy the code in any way shape or form. Further clarification on that will be made once both of them return from the strange realm which is "Real Life"

Known bug. There are a few more, these are the reason this was delayed so long. Just couldn't keep it to ourselves any longer

Please try not to over bump the thread don't need the overseers to stop by. As soon as we have something for people to download that won't ruin their gameplay we will post it -
KerbTown can do this with what it has built in already. An elevator can be scripted into a unity scene that has a ribbon tethering the orbital station. a kerbal seat can even be added to the elevator

No it's a mini srb for launching the glider don't take your kerbals up too high when they aren't wearing helmets, or you might find something unpleasant.
