  1. Please take a look at my Mod Highlights and give these authors some luvin' A Space-bound Kerbal blog
  2. Content is steadily increasing. Tell me what you think
  3. I put up 3 videos last night and a little blog for each. Check them out HERE
  4. Please check out my new blog. It's growing slowly, but I expect to add a bunch of new posts shortly. Find it here
  5. I installed remotetech and now I found a new challenge of setting up a satellite network. It isn't going well, but I am having a blast. I learn a little more each time. It's great with limited parts in career mode
  6. I think B9 has a strutless strut. It just has the ends but no bar and still functions as a strut
  7. You can control engines with action groups but you cannot re stage the engines.
  8. Ah. I guess I could do that. It will be interesting to build a craft that will deploy satellites. Thanks for the help.
  9. Great, that helps a lot. First satellite is a bitch... I thought going vertical the whole was was wasteful, but I didn't know best how to keep LoS with KSC.
  10. Greetings, I was wondering what the most efficient way to set a satellite in GEO with Remote Tech is. Do I just burn vertical until I get about 100km apoapsis and then burn horizontal to get an orbit and then burn to make the apoapsis on the opposite side of the planet to about 2800km and then wait until the KSC is under the new apoapsis and make the periapsis 2800km? Seems like it uses a lot of fuel. Remote tech makes it tough which is what I've wanted. Am I going about it correctly?
  11. Forget them sometimes. The most boneheaded move for me was sending a Lander to Duna and realizing I put the landing legs on upside down. Still worked tho...
  12. I've had Kerbals bounce off capsule at the instant they start their EVA. It happened again a bunch of times. What appears to have happened was there was an antenna sticking out. Make sure there's nothing near the hatch.
  13. ah. I did some research. I was thinking gamma, uva and uv be. I should have been thinking types of thermal radiation like ir. It's interesting that other than Uranus, our gas giants emit more energy then they receive from the sun. I guess Uranus is a deep dark place indeed.
  14. I really had no idea gas giants emit radiation. This is interesting. I am running to wiki
