  1. I think most of this will be in the atmosphere, with relatively short distance mission, so I don't think Realism Overhaul with all of its scaling and life support would be that necessary.
  2. The tech tree is most likely changed by Community Tech Tree, which adds nodes for a variety of mods like KSPI and USI. If you don't like having the empty nodes, you can either get the USI mod, or get the hide empty tech node mod.
  3. Pictures can be posted through hosting services such as Imgur.
  4. In case you're having trouble accessing the menu, it's opened by pressing ctrl-k while controlling a craft.
  5. Or if you don't want to break physics, try routine mission manager, which lets you automate refueling missions and such.
  6. Speaking of ladder drives, does anyone know how to prevent it from happening? It's pretty annoying for EVA's.
  7. Personally, I've found that RAM is far more limiting for KSP than CPU, but maybe that's just because I only have 8GB of RAM.
  8. As someone who uses an Intel HD graphics card, I can tell you that the game runs well enough. Your CPU and RAM specs are much more important for KSP to run smoothly. Of course, this changes if you try to add graphics mods such as scatterer and such. These mods are much more GPU intensive.
  9. If this gets implemented, someone *cough* Danny2462 *cough* would find a way to use kerbals to throw things into orbit.
  10. Is that supposed to say Earth, not under then?
  11. In general, most mods are installed by copying the folders from the downloaded zip and pasting into the Gamedata folder.
  12. If I remember correctly, the devs have said that they will not make Steam achievements a thing. As for in game achievements, I think they're a little pointless because a lot of KSP players mod the game, which can make it significantly easier or harder. There are also the milestone contracts such as first orbit, first mun landing etc that sorted of function as achievements.
  13. It is this mod here you're trying to install right?
  14. If it doesn't work, it's probably because you are not installing it correctly, you don't have the right version, or you don't have the other mods the mod needs to run. For the installation, make sure you are not putting the zip file in the gamedata folder and you don't have Gamedata/Gamedata/mod.
  15. I don't know if it's been done, but I'm sure it's doable to an extent with texture replacer.
  16. If you're fine with mods, you can look into ship manifest, which lets you transfer science experiments around without kerbals.
  17. I looked on the thread. The issue seems to be resolved by installing the second newest version of BDAc
  18. Fellow doge! But if it happens with stock planes, insufficient intakes probably isn't the issue.
  19. You know you can take screenshots in game with f1 right? also can you provide your mod list? That would help pinpoint what is causing the problem.
  20. The mod you're looking for is Raster Prop Monitor. The download can be found by scrolling down here: https://github.com/Mihara/RasterPropMonitor/releases/
  21. There used to be a mod called haystack that lets you switch vessels easily. But I don't know if it's updated or not.
  22. If you can't build a space station yet why don't you try that next? It will provide you with a refueling station for you interplanetary missions. Also allows you to practice your docking skills. Or you could just send probes to fly by or orbit other planets.
  23. Reminds me of back when the mechjeb case was basically massless and any explosion led to it flying off to infinity.
  24. If it turns while on the runway it's probably because the wheels aren't perfectly straight. But sometimes I had issues with not enough intake air leading to uneven thrust from engines.
