  1. You're probably looking for a mod manager instead, but honestly, downloading the mods you want is much easier and probably faster. Besides, I don't think you'll find any mods for 0.9 at this point. I mean, it was released almost four years ago, back in august 2011...
  2. Got a Parkzone Micro Sukhoi SU-26XP that hasn't flown yet, I just never seem to have enough time to fly it. It looks exactly like this:
  3. Well, a couple of versions ago I found this mountain from a mapping satellite near the North Pole: Never actually landed there (inclination was too high for the mission), but I guess it would look quite cool. Since I never went, I don't know the coordinates. However, through the magic of the interwebz I found this site: http://www.kerbalmaps.com/ According to the Duna map, (if the mount I'm thinking of is the one right in the middle) its height goes past 5 kilometers. The coordinates to the highest spot on the mount (from that map) are 15,5566 and -0,4395.
  4. You can't attach things directly on the forum, you must upload them to imgur and then post them here. That's what it says. Just create an imgur account, upload the picture, click on it, and copy the link that says "BBCode (message boards & forums)". Then just paste the link on your post and voilá. Here's an example (hit "Reply With Quote" so you can see how it looks): I'm not a fan of registering on sites and didn't plan on using imgur a lot, but it's just extremely useful. Currently there's no image limit, and the simplicity is a huge plus. I use it for all my image-hosting needs.
  5. I buy myself a nice, well-mantained, second-hand ultralight. Next poster gets 'bout tree fiddy bucks.
  6. I buy myself all the stuff I need for turning that old-as-[redacted] damaged acoustic guitar I was gifted into a new travel-sized guitar. Next comment gets exactly $270.80.
  7. Guys, he didn't use aerodynamics, he just aerobraked so that the spacecraft would go up for a while before coming back down. I've done it several times, generally reduces the G-Load and allows the heatshield to cool down, both things are useful when playing with Deadly Reentry.
  8. Did I... Did I miss something? Damn, just tuned in to the guy saying "Thanks for watching!"
  9. Ten-foot poles, everybody! Get your ten-foot poles right here! Seriously, this topic only stirs people up in bad ways. Not something I'd like to discuss in such a friendly forum.
  10. He ded. Heh, looks exactly like one I had. Spilled water on it and had to kiss it goodbye. Looks like it's time for you to get a new one, it'll probably cost more to repair it than buying another keyboard.
  11. 'Murica? We don't relate ourselves to those... people. *sips tea angrily*
  12. This is one of those things that, while seeming relatively simple, would be a living hell for a developer. Capsules are pretty much the most complex parts in the game, that's why you don't see a lot of them.
  13. Scouting as in... World of Tanks scouting, or the military thing... ? EDIT: I've made a terrible mistake. And yup, I don't even know what BSA means. I just know that Boy Scouts go on camping trips and sell cookies and that kind of stuff. My ignorance on the topic is showing.
  14. Is... is that another Kerbin behind the Mun? Great job, you did great on the logo.
  15. This. I doubt JPL would ignore something like this, but you never know. There's a million things that could go terribly wrong with this kind of missions...
  16. Uhm, could you post examples for formatting? Me is confuse.
  17. "Yolo McSwaggins Mk. 1" What other name would be appropiate for starting your new manned space program with a seat strapped to a SRB? (backwhen 0.20 was released. )
  18. I've used different methods through my KSP career, from robotic arms to twin tugs and the like. When I started playing 6.4x Kerbin it was different, though. I had to figure out how to build a station out of sleek parts and deliver stuff efficently. I came up with these designs: 1. A heavy core with everything I'd need to continue the construction (This one launched on my 20t rocket). 2. A "Tug" able to deliver four arms at once. I didn't want to launch each one on a separate rocket for a bunch of reasons, so I designed this thing: 3. A service module with lots of reaction wheel power to deliver the solar array and living space extension module. This one was nothing to write home about. 4. My personal favorite, these tugs with extended arms for delivering both life support containers to the station: They work like Vanamonde's, but they were single-use, launched with the module. Since I don't use Infernal Robotics, the arms were just long procedural tanks full of HTP. This gives the RCS enough fuel for all maneuvers, and they even look cool at launch! The best thing of all is that they separate cleanly and they're very maneuverability after delivering their modules. #4 is the one I'll probably use the most once I get back to playing in v1.0
  19. If you have headphones or a good sound system, do yourself a favour and plug them in. Just sit back and listen, this is worth it.
  20. Yup. Once I met a lady whose only argument was that the earth was surrounded by "a huge metal sphere with radiation that kills people when they go through it". No, she wasn't talking about Dyson spheres, she really misunderstood the Van Allen belts. This is the problem with these people. Once you take down one of their arguments, they'll just look for another one that's just as bad as the previous one. You can never win a discussion with them. I don't think that even counts as a pun, just beating a dead horse...
  21. Bet it's going to cost a fortune, under-perform relatively to other cars, and require special parts only Apple technicians have access to. Sorry. I'm still kinda butthurt after buying an iPod touch...
