  1. Do you mean debris that reenters the atmosphere gets destroyed so we wouldn't be able to salvage it? It seems to make sense. Unless you put some parachutes on and activate them in atmosphere the debris wouldn't survive the landing anyways.
  2. Big fan of deployable lights. Could make planetary bases much more interesting and sort of alive. General lighting around the base, a trail to a nearby anomaly, an impromptu landing strip near the base.
  3. What if instead of simulating both star systems at the same time it essentially paused one of them. Once a properly equipped ship reached a certain point outside of the kerbin star system the game basically pauses the kerbin system and loads the new one with the ship on the outskirts. I realize it's not a perfect solution, I'm just looking for ways to have multiple solar systems without self destructing computers.
  4. On getting money in the game you will probably get specific contracts from some outside group that will pay to put this station/ship/probe (or a custom made ship that has certain required components) at a given orbit of a given planet. Also perhaps you could sell some of the materials you are mining by returning them to Kerbin, if you don't need them for fuel. There is no rule saying the only thing the kerbals mine has to be fuel.
  5. It seems the revert feature is mainly for launch when things are more likely to go wrong.
  6. I believe you can speed this up based on which tank is doing the transferring. I think the smaller tanks transfer fuel at a slower rate so it is easier to mange how much fuel you want in them. Try transferring into the big tank instead of out of the small tank if you see what I mean.
  7. I think with the new craters the altitude has changed quite a bit. ISA mapsat confirms much of the surface is now above 3500m when it wasn't before.
  8. Has anyone else noticed that the courage bars seem to be backwards in the crew info in the map screen, compared to the values in the VAB and Astronaut Complex? I.E. Courage bar is full in VAB and Astronaut Complex but empty in map screen crew info, 75% full turns into 25% full.
  9. It also seems to depend on the craft, the B9 BRV-4 Heinlein, for instance shakes when SAS is on, but the B9 SCDV Vonnegut does not.
  10. 1. I don't think you can do this because the instantaneous change of the center of mass like that screws with the physics. 2,3,4 would all be nice to have.
  11. Agreed something similar to mechjeb's smart A.S.S. with +Par, -Par indicators just like retrograde and prograde would be nice.
  12. In the meantime you could consider adding outriggers of a sort in between where your front and rear wheels are then setting those middle wheels to not turn to reduce flipping.
  13. Would theses be similar to texture packs in minecraft in that it's an all or nothing deal or do you want to mix and match the textures?
  14. I've also seen significant lag with just the atmosphere. That combined with the ocean can make navigating kerbin difficult sometimes.
  15. I completely agree. The main reason I use mechjeb is for the smart A.S.S. Something similar would be very nice.
  16. Seems more like the OP was suggesting a new button under esc. only when your ship is actually recoverable on kerbin. NOT bringing the end flight button back.
  17. Yep that did it. Thought you only had to have a sender dish pointed at it and the antennae would pick it up. Thanks for the help.
  18. All sats have power. All sats have activated remotetech satellite dish interplanetary class. The kerbin satellites that have line of sight to the Mun satellite are pointed at it. The Mun satellite is not actually in orbit around the Mun but sharing an orbit slightly in front of the Mun.
  19. I just cannot figure this out. I'vs set up a small initial relay network around Kerbin consisting of 4 satellites at 90 degree angles in geostationary orbit. The satellites are all controllable through signals relayed from KSC. I was trying to set up 2 satellites around the Mun but my satellite there keeps losing contact even though all the dishes are the interplanetary one with the 50 Gm range and the ones with line of sight are pointed at the Mun satellite. All dishes are active, and all probes have power.
  20. Kerbals do take a little while to respawn anyway. It isn't immediate sometimes. Unless you restart the same flight.
