I would reccomend wing commander privateer, as it is am excellent elite-a-like, star sector, while not finished, kept me entertained for 30 hours, and they are still early in development, planetside 2 is worth looking a if you have the sort of supercomputer that can run KSP, but Ive been playing a fair bit of torchlight, as it is quite fun hacky slashy combat.

Trust me, long burns are nightmarish, especially with craft that will explode when phywarp even looks in their general direction. I think this bugger accelerated at about a tenth of a gee. I think i got through six Game of Thrones chapters in the departure burn to Eeloo alone.

You have 3 Kerbals you say? and you have an elliptical orbit? In theory, if you wanted to, you could get out and push-use the EVA pack and push against the back of the pod. Do this for your mid course corrections, use your fuel to break orbit, then get home with EVA. EDIT: you will probably need quite a lot of patience for this, as you have to push, go back into the pod, replenish your EVA and rinse and repeat. Well. if you managed to learn enough to work out how to get to Eve, you have enough patience for this.

Agreed. I found Memes funny 3 years ago, but 90% of them have zero shelf life, are overused, and the general format stopped being amusing the second the masses found them.

Once you have muscle memory of the translation keys mapped out, and have a basic grasp of orbital mechanics, docking becomes simple. I don't if I am special, but I find triple docking really easy, but the new docking ports are amazing for orbital construction.

Agreed. The whole lol moar boosters thing is kind of a more newby thing, when we all were just playing with the pieces, rather than assembling things to leave the planet.

I have 3 Lko stations, a mun station, kethane and ep bases on the mun and Duna, and I have probes orbiting most bodies. Save breaking. All my missions that don't involve developing new craft have been canned, and I am concentrating on my new cargo SSTO. An well, my old save was a turgid mass of debris, kethane and extraplanetery launchpads.
