  1. did i get this right for large maneuvers four thrusters under the nosecone are used? So eyeballs out?
  2. Were they as carefully with the weather on Shuttle? Or is it because this is the first manned flight for dragon?
  3. I‘d argue that this is not the goal of a National Space Agency unless specifically ordered. So its just Bridenstine talking.
  4. i‘d be in favor of a completely new „Meatworm“ design.
  5. „we want everybody to be able to fly into space“ i know they need to keep people excited for Spaceflight but come on.
  6. They really love the „Multiplanetary“ Buzzword do they.
  7. I think that would actually be good as we really didn't need any more tanks and boosters if you ask me, and if these are stock parts, we can hope to make our own better looking replicas.
  8. Its mainly the proportions that bother me, looks way to asparagus. None of the thiccness that makes Ariane 5 so great looking. Edit: are these just stock parts with exchangeable skin? hope so
  9. VirginOrbit isn‘t exactly in competition with both SpaceX and ULA.
  10. https://www.sncorp.com/press-releases/snc-shooting-star-arrives-nasa-kennedy-space-center/ So on their website its says: Which kinda answers my Question.
  11. Come on now @tater i wasn‘t being totally serious.
  12. Berger certainly deserves a spot on SpaceXs payroll if you ask me.
  13. Wonder if comet ejecta will pose any risk.
  14. i know it will be deorbited, the question was more if it has its own propulsion, so that it could be used without the actual dreamchaser in a capacity similar to the progress tug used for Pirs and Poisk. Also just noticed the name Shooting Star is kinda nice for the part burning up on reentry.
  15. I‘m talking about the Launch Vehicle of course since it has an euro-version.
  16. Well Soyuz parts are already in Making History. But yeah with Vega C/E atleast sharing the same first stage as Ariane 6 boosters i could see those fit the modularity of KSP. Then again there are quite a few solid rocket motors already.
  17. Is this shooting star Vehicle a complete Service module that could be used as a tug for other modules or more like the Dragon trunk?
  18. I hope we get some medium Rosetta sized solar panels to fill the gap between the Gigantor and the 1x6 panels.
  19. The meatgrinder is a world with an already largely unhealthy population, terrible health system too expensive for many leading them to only go to the doctor when its already really bad for them, and then filling up all the icu‘s. So yeah ofcourse you can‘t all stay inside till theres a vaccine, but you just can‘t return everything to normal. People need to keep distance. Disgusting sentiment. why treat sick people at all then, they‘ll just die someday anyway.
  20. @tater Very convenient data you choose then. Its already pretty bad in the U.S. and its only going to get worse. Especially if you send all the people into the meatgrinder now
