how did you find out about ksp??
OptimumAmoeba replied to TheGuyNamedAlan's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I really don't remember, it was probably YouTube (Scott Manley?) at the time of 0.18 with the old launch pad and I remember being updated within a matter of days to 0.19. l don't think I really played anything else for about 2yrs before I finally got burned out. -
Wow I've not been around these parts for a while . I've been to every soi at least once with probes. Kerbaled flights Mun Minmus Duna Eve Laythe also the moons of above planets. I'm really starting to get back into KSP after a really long break, all these new features are really nice good work guys.

While I will not get to compete in the Kerbal Cup...
OptimumAmoeba replied to Whackjob's topic in KSP1 Discussion
That's a shame I had a go last night to launch mine and rather disappointingly my first test flight achieved orbit. I don't mean to sound arrogant or big headed but i was hoping for some spectacular failures and a nice bit of problem solving. Perhaps it would be more of a challenge if I only used orange tanks and Mainsails. Here's some pics.... -

You are using the new bigger parts though, I can see how that would cause you problems. -

Brilliant as usual, reminds me of this guy i made for one of the fan works challenges. Now i'm feeling inspired to try and send him to orbit. Thank you, I was feeling burnt out after a year of play. I can feel my mojo rising. -

The Ladderless Challenge!

Ok here is my attempt at an elevator, a bit more kerbal than last nights effort. edit: I forgot it also goes down too, the magnetism of the bottom docking port gives you a nice bouncy soft landing. -

Not as kerbal as some of the above but none the less may I present the Helter skelter. Loved the elevator and the decoupler. -

The cake is a lie but the rest looks pretty pukka to me. -

Maybe tidy up your room a bit next time as well. Not having a go I'm just as bad. Ask my Mrs.

You've made it on to the KSP Facebook page.

No problem, sorry about getting it wrong there, I was on my phone on the way to work so I didn't have the info to hand. I think i have mine set to 0.10. you may find you can turn your graphics settings back up if you turned them down.
-
Try setting the physics delta slider back to 1 they changed the default setting to something like 0.4, my MacBook Pro did not like this at all I had the exact same problems as you. Now I've set it to 1 everything runs nice and smooth like it use to. EDIT. That should be 0.10 not 1:blush:

Merry Christmas everyone.

What do you think the Mystery goo really is ?
OptimumAmoeba replied to ouion's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Mystery Goo Is the residue from all of our cursor movements over Kerbals and their rockets, you want to select something it hi-lights green so it must be a result of us interacting with the Kerbal universe.
