The Kerbal 5 Stock doesnt have landing gear and i believe you wont get back easily. Search for the Moonwalker Redux Rocket in the Spacecraft Exchange. Its build with the demo version.

Kinda silly that ion engines are more expensive than nuclear engines. The nuclear material needed for these engines is certainly not cheap. Neither are the safety consideration regarding these drives. A ion engine in mass production ist certainly much cheaper.

Yeah no stock. I just used a small fuel pod and a little engine and editted only fuel consumption and thrust. Its nearly stock and can carry 200tons to Geostationary Orbit.

ION Engine are just for minor course correction then? I assume they are cheaper than nuclear engines in the game? Whats the ISP of the ion engines in the game?

I feel with you OP. Same happend to me with my second moon rocket ( the first one with enough fuel left to go home again ).

Since i only have the demo version i'D be glad if someone could weight this rocket and how much it can carry into LEO.

thats not what i meant. I like to fine tune the parts after they have been attached.

Is there a way to fine tune the positiojn of partS? I imagine a feature where you could just hover over a part and click into fine tune mode of a part and the adjust the position and orientation with the keyboard in very fine increments.
