  1. propeller/turboprop (yeah mods do this, and this is Kerbal Space program, not Kerbal plane program, but I still would prefer one in the stock game,). shorter/less awkward looking 2.5m decoupler 2.5m short Monoprop fuel tank (like in KSPX) 2.5m monoprop engine parachutes, or ejection seats. some sort of pseudo-procedural landing gear that can be stretched as to adjust for ground clearance. hinges or rotors, like some have said in this thread. also a speedometer that can give me readings in KM/H.

    that is a poor argument/ 1/10 almost made me upset. .. but seriously, I wouldn't mind being able to actually see whats in front of me from IVA view.

    you're planning on making it more "Round" I hope(as its stockalike). But this is awsome in any case. I would also kinda try and adjust the size, so like rather than be 1.25 in diameter, (or close to 1.25), rather like 2.00 in diameter, with liek an adapter to make it 2.50 or something.
  7. that's a pretty cool fuel gauge.. a stock equivelent should be made (though possibly more "stock-like"), the buttons and switches are cool too.

    if the "mini-thruster/rcs"-like engines. resembled some of the AIES pack in being surface attachable, that would be nice too.

  10. the "technical challenges" could be overcome with a bit of actual effort, and not just minor studies every few years. At least as far as converting stages that hydro-lox are concerned. Hypergolic and hydrocarbon -using stages I understand as actually being beyond possible to convert due to specific issues with those fuels.
  11. you can keep cryogenic propellents from pooling/collecting someplace by simply filling the chamber with warmer air, and/or modifying the temperature control systems for life support... I think, though there are probably other problems associated with that, ones that I can't think of. I think that the major problem with a "wet workshop", at least as far as NASA is concerned, isn't so much with the technological challenges, but the internal/external/political forces.

    Perhaps its due to this not being released on spaceport... certainly this would make a nice complement to something like KSPX or to RLA's stockalike package.
  13. Multi Level Life Support - Drawing board

    I would prefer that life-support mods avoid adding parts. though that's mostly due to the build system encouraging somewhat aesthetically unappealing designs. (tweakables may fix that though, as would part-bays/covers). As for greenhouses, I think they should be kinda heavy and only really work at a certain scale.
  14. I think this is an excellent Idea, or at the very least, a very solid concept that, squad should persue for .23 Even if it's just like a placeholder, I wouldn't mind. It would mean 1 less "Essential" mod (in this case Crew Manifest) I would have to install,
