Rareden's Real 8k Skybox for Texture Replacer

Yeah, that's what I had it for, but I started using BA5 with texture replacer. I like this sky-box too much though, so I made it compatible with TR. -

The EnvMap folder contains the .tga files which, I believe, designate the images to their corresponding locations in the sky box. Just drop the images in Texture Replacer > Default. It may be that another file you have is conflicting with it. May just have to experiment. Here's what it should look like v https://www.dropbox.com/s/sz4lxrw2ja6ivol/direct.png -

BROKEN [0.90] TextureReplacer 2.1.2 (20.12.2014)
Kunschner replied to shaw's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I reuploaded Rareden's Skybox, it's in 8k and I made it drag and drop compatible with texture replacer. I had a hard time finding it which is why I uploaded it. http://goo.gl/41EtjH -
PREVIEW I was using this sky-box a while back with Universe Replacer. It's painfully difficult to find and the source I got this from was for Universe Replacer. I changed the names so it works with Texture Replacers coding. Credit goes to Rareden. Whom I have permission from. So it is single core ughh. Still I'll have a drastic performance increase over my current Phenom 64 3 core... Unfortunately the FX series 6 core has equal single core performance as it's 8 core. Though due to GPU I thinks I'm stuck with amd mobo/cpu. Will reconsider my CPU choices with this information though. Thanks for the response. Edit: according to your link FX-8350 has bad performance (maxed on 32fps????) Edit: 6350 is the new candidate, thank you.

Sorry if this has been discussed elsewhere, couldn't find it. I'm upgrading rig. I was just curious, upon which part(s) is KSP most intensive? I really want quick load time and of course decent FPS, as current is crap with several mods, and load times are really irritating. I believe it to be the CPU, I'm getting FX-8350 (8-core/4ghz). I'll also be running 8gb SDRAM DDR3 1600, and game will be on an SSD (Samsung's EVO 840 something, 120gb) Running on old GPU, 6850 1gb. 7870 or R9 270x to come. Though game is not graphic intense..? I know this will be enough, but is there anywhere worth investing more into to get best KSP performance? Thank you

What mods are those orange 4-armed piece on the top left of pic, and the cylindrical piece connecting the Cupola and 4-piece connector?
