KSP: 0.90 Windows 32bit Problem: After getting close enough to Minmus, the texture changes to a low-res version, and doesn't change to a higher-res version even once on the surface, leading to weird, splotchy ground. Images here. Mods installed: Reproduction steps: 1. Get close to Minmus. 2. Marvel at badness. 3. Post a support request on the forums. Changing graphical settings, or restarting the game, does not work. The issue doesn't seem to occur on Mun or Kerbin.

  4. Hi, I keep getting this error message every time I try to download a mod. The mod downloads, the bar fills up, and once it's full it says this: "Illegal characters in path." If I press continue, the error box will close, but the bar will stay full and never go away. I'm running 1.4.0, although the problem also occurred in the other version. I'm running Windows 7, and have the prerequisite installed.   5. Hello! I'm planning to build a colony on Minmus, and I was wondering what mods would be recommended for doing such. I'd like the colony to have some purpose, but also to be versatile and structurally sound. Any suggestions?
  6. The Kraken is an inside joke, not a canon game element. When Squad said no aliens, I'm pretty sure they meant no aliens.

In regards to all the mod changes, I must say that I run a personal server for myself and my significant other, and it has KAS and works fine (fine means "as fine as KMP will allow", every time we try to rendezvous with each other his crafts teleport several kilometres away from mine). And, for the 3.75 meter parts, I'd never use those. I don't know what other kinds of parts that mod adds at 3.75 meters, but most part mods only add propulsion stuff at that scale, and a metric buttload of propulsion isn't always very interesting. If it adds crew compartments and stuff, that would be better.
  9. I'm starting to fear that the setup is taking so long that before we finish the update is going to release and we'll have to wait for these mods to be compatible again.

  12. Perhaps some kind of space race, like Around the World in 80 Days, except with the entire Kerbolar system. Too bad this isn't going to happen. It's a nice thought, though.

  14. If I were in the pvp server, I'd just try to make a base somewhere in the desert and ferry stuff over by plane, hoping to avoid people's anti-air defenses. I'd be interested in becoming an admin, by the way. A couple years back I was admin on several modded minecraft servers, although their names escape me. EDIT: This is true. I'm pretty sure it's 40km, at least it was the last time I played.

  16. Count me in on this. At first I was bummed about the decision to not include Kethane, but your reasoning makes sense; our bases would be made obsolete every time we load. Mechjeb is good, if only because it eases the task of finding players to have fun with (not everyone can properly rendezvous, or land precisely near their friends). FAR seems like something we'd want, so I'd be interested as to why you don't want to include it. Does it create problems in a multiplayer setting or do you just not like the mod? I'll recommend some mods now, but I'm not sure how exactly this will work, so they may not be compatible with a server for all I know. 1. KAS, because it's cool and awesome. 2. Hooligan Labs Airships, because they're cool and awesome. 3. Kerbal Joint Reinforcement, because it's awesome and realistic. 4. Firespitter Propeller parts, because they're cool.
  17. R-Resources were shelved? That was pretty much the only thing that I thought would enrich my long-term replayability experience. Darn. Pretty mad about that. OT, I like this suggestion.
