Not sure about this, but perhaps you could install the FASA launch clamps. It seems like a pretty good supplement to stock launch clamps, with stack clamps, umbilicals, a launch tower (!) and a regular old super-sturdy clamp. What I mean is that this could improve the stability of your 180t launcher.

What is this "waste collection" in space you speak of? I am a true orbital litterbug, usually leaving upper/transfer combo stages in orbit, and my heavy SSTO lifters into orbit. Yes, I have boosters that can get into orbit on their own.

Bump! On my online physics homework, I found something that I think is highly relevant. We are currently talking about fields. "If the Earth were one-half the size, but had one-fourth the mass, how would your weight compare to your current weight? Your weight on this 'other Earth' would be..." Kerbin is 10 or 11 times smaller than Earth, yet it has the same gravity. However, Kerbin's mass should be 20 times less than Earth's mass. Since I am not at home to see Kerbin's mass in the Kerbal Knowledgebase, I will leave this to you.

There was something like this in the early U.S. space program. Literally speaking, "astros" means heavenly body, and "naut" means a sailor. So "astronaut" would mean a sailor in space. We didn't use "chimponaut" because quite frankly that would suggest a chimp in sailor pants. Kerbol, henceforth Kerbonaut seems a likely explanation, but Kerbalnaut is saying a Kerbal in sailor pants.
