  1. Stable-Basic worked once. Then froze on loading every time. Remove ATM KSP worked fine. Installed ATM as only mod - freeze on load. Windows 7 32 bit KSP used x86 version. Main reason for using was KSO.
  2. I do not think "edited for time" will do the trick here. They ignore orbital inclinations altogether. Hubble and ISS are in totally different orbital inclinations. Going from one to the other requires a precisely timed burn at the least, if not a rendezvous scenario to go along with the inclination change. In the movie everything is really close. I thought that given the presented scenario (that everything is in docking distance) that the movie was realistic.
  3. It is in every saved. However, you can disable it when you are playing and do not want it active.
  4. I feel that the information displays as well as Warp help should be stock from the get go. The autopilot should be unlocked for both Sandbox and Career mode after the player has performed the tasks by hand (to simulate the development of the technology). I would require different milestones for different modules and frame them as training in the career game or the tutorials. Establishing an circular orbit - Ascent guidance. Orbiting Moon - Maneuver Planner. Rendezvous and docking - you get the idea. This way players learn the basics, but those who prefer the creative gameplay aspects over the twitch elements are given tools to help them fly. Autopilot should always remain optional. People who do not want to use it, should have the option not too.
  5. When trying to land a probe on Tylo, MJ always does the de-orbit burn, but never initiates the braking burn. I have enough fuel and can land manually, but MJ seems to just stop working.
  6. You did not strand them. You got them to their new home.
  7. All Kerbals, sooner or later, regardless of their fate return to their point of origin...the KSC. It is their way.
  8. Please, please change the title. I almost cried when I saw it. How can anyone not love the Skipper.
  9. Yeah, that was mine. It was not very friendly. I am sorry. While my opinion may not apply to you, I stand by it. That being said, there are more precise and less inflammatory ways to gain the feedback you sought. Remember, its the internet. People do not know you, nor can they judge your implied intent when you post something ambiguous on a decisive topic. Then again, I think you knew that when you posted. Take care and have fun.
  10. You, are a rolemodel for us all. Now, please excuse me while I strive to become like you.
  11. Yeah, you're probably right about a portion of the posts. In the end its the same difference. None. The trolls also seek social validation("Look Ma, I caused a big thread to be made."), only they do not even have a cause to get behind... but Monkeys did fly Mercury. Sam, Ham and Enos.
  12. Often the real motivation in posts like these is to validate and stroke ego by defining what constitutes proper play and fun in a single player game. In doing so, the difference between fact and opinion is utterly disregarded. Such argumentation is, simply put, fallacious. When all is said and done on the Internet, it is the person playing the game who decides what constitutes fun gameplay and the proper challenge, if or when challenge is desired, not some arbitrary statement by someone trying to impose their rules upon you. KSPs gameplay allows individuals to seek their fun. Be is Stock, mods, flying, planning, simulating, experimenting, running a space program or simply going places and enjoying the view. How about less of these threads and more "I'm okay, You're okay." Edit: Took some of the bite out.
  13. I play KSP because I like space exploration, not because I think the way I play it could validate me in some way.
  14. those are tutorials and othe game states that overwrite your current game. If you are not careful you can ruin your save.
  15. There are two sets of engines for the Dragon Capsule. One is labeled as experimental with integrated alien technology. These will let you go anywhere in the game many times over. I think its more of a bonus part than anything else. The other engines have much less delta-V. They are on par with a craft capable of a Duna landing. Both engines are optional. The mod is more powerful than the stock parts, but represents Earth technology from the 2000s instead of the 1960s.
  16. Please do not apply human psychology to Kerbals. They are aliens and thus their needs may be very different from those of ours. I, for one, am certain that, after watching the videos, that Kerbals simply pile up in hugh piles whenever they are relaxing, resting or sleeping (Yes there are huge piles of Kerbals all around Kerbin and the KSC simply lying on top of each other. Occasionally one squeezes out and another joins the pile). The strut, in fact was an invention to counter the most common complaint at the KSC: The Pods are two big and no one can pile up. More struts fix this problem and soon the solution was applied to other problems, like boosters! Could be true...(and is in my game)
  17. You are welcome. Its that way for all parts and plugins now. Let me add that this is the first time I have ever seen these in game (with the low Rez pack) and I must say that your work is just awesome! Thank you for making and releasing these.
  18. Mods go in the GameData folder now. The file structure would be as follows: KSP/GameData/LazarusLuan(or your name of choice)/Parts(and the Internals) Ships still go in ships
  19. Seemore Kerman Seanman Kerman Willy Kerman Fredfurt Kerman
