  1. That's what I meant ish, yea, still, I'd like to see more of this and WT!
  2. Is that stuff from the WT live forum? Cause if so, there is some wicked stuff on there!
  3. Kerbal spare time entertainment has reached a new apoapsis
  4. You must play the previous versions! Play something like .17 or something like that, I've done that before, you have to enjoy the game rather than do it seriously
  5. Athena base sounds good, I was just drooling dreaming of something along those lines, weird!
  6. This... is... beautiful... ;_;
  7. I am afraid there is a general thread on this, here : http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/28293-Show-off-your-flags-MEGATHREAD
  8. Its been a while, but its the same update bit- this update, we take a SESEOR Munshuttle Mk2 to the Julius Station The rocket is ready in another night launch Taking off at about 70% thrust Stage separation (In a GIF! So spoilt! ) Ditching the First stage (More GIFery!) Using the second stage for orbit Staging the Second stage after getting to orbit at a stable 200km orbit- Then, I used it to get to the Munar Slingshot, like normal At the Mun, we picked a high periapsis and a higher apoapsis so we could intercept the Julius station- it was about 300km off the surface of the Mun After cruising to the Very high altitude, Julius is sighted, to the left of the MunShuttle Coming closer, braking with the main engine at this distance, then using RCS to maneuver closer Guston: Welcome chaps, come to swap us out eh? Fredlas: Indeed, we'll begin flying over to you, we trained for this in sims, its all good Guston: Don't want to un-dock the return module? Fredlas: Nah, piece of snack really Guston: If you say to... Fredlas: And I do,sir- right gents, get to it! *** After the exchange of crew, as well as some items from either craft, the MunShuttle left, homeward bound with Guston, Raydon and Mersy started their awaited return home Burning away from the station About 2 hours after the crew change, the MunShuttle approached Kerbin Service Module separation Burning through the atmosphere Home- The Julius 1st crew take a well deserved break
  9. I love it! How did you take those photos inside the helmet of Watsan?
  10. Sounds interesting, but I'm not so sure about the idea itself being sucessful
  11. Just noticed, on that picture, the little dot is the perspective point
  12. It Lives! Yea, I come back to this occasionally, so this is what I got so far:
  13. Ooooh... all going smoothly eh? For now... *evil cackle*
  14. Crew Rotation on KOSMOS & Julius Part 1 First, we swap out some of the KOSMOS crew with Mission commander Newdin, Gerder and Johning Kerman for their phase on the station- they ride a MTC into orbit On the pad Liftoff Boosters gone Stage separation Pushing through the atmosphere Gravity Turn Stage separation And into orbit At this point, the game crashed- as in, really crashed- as I was screwing around with mods; fixed now, I won't screw around any more Approaching the station in darkness- After this, I gave the MTC two spotlights for future dark dockings Under the station, rotating for the docking port in the center of the picture Lined up, pushing forward for docking, the standard stuff, but still good fun Edging forward, nearly there.... All done, transferring crew to the other MTC on the top of the station Scampering around for the transfer, the Kerbals are also unpacking equipment that they brought up, including delicate scientific equipment for... SCIENCE! Jonrim, Kirbus and Burrey Kerman leave from their record breaking 9 month stay, the longest ever space tour yet Undocking the aging MTC- this will be brought down for refurb and probably be sent up again, a bit like a shuttle The MTC then burns to land on Kerbin- Shortly after, the Service section is ejected A successful re-entry marks the end of the 9 month mission, overshooting and touching down on the shore of the eastern peninsular. The second crew rota will come soon, this update is big so I will split it into two- I'm sure you can manage without some SESEOR . Stay tuned!
  15. This is such a cool base! I like how the whole thing looks with the kind-of hexagonal theme *scribbles notes*
  16. Kerbol has gone critical! It can't be saved!
  17. Yes- someone made me a flag, they put on "Sailor Mun" Because I asked for "SESEOR Mun" I do remember that
  18. Awww, Jeb is so upset! This is great, I just think that you should revise the head and body lengths, shrink them a bit and in my opinion, it will be more kerbal
  19. Gaza Sr & Jr Crater Primary Crew,First Trip Cont. In order to descend Gaza Sr crater safely, primary crew had to descend by strafing from one side to the other, like this: So, they began the descent Doodby: Newbree, got yourself a sample rock here, I'll pull up Newbree: Right-O Doodby, will be interesting to get a look at them when they are down in the craters... Doodby: What you got there doc? Newbree: Magnificent! Got a bunch of small crystals here, perfect condition Newbree: This is a great find! I'd like to stay here for a while, examine the subject a bit better Doodby: Sure thing pal, want the drill? Newbree: Why, yes *** After their great find, along with a snack break and some quick analysis of the samples in the LREV, the primary crew proceeded to find the lowest(ish) point of Gaza Sr Newbree: Can we go any lower? Doodby: Appears not- Newbree: Well this is it then! Stop the truck! Doodby: -OK, OK! Taking a standard picture of the flag with the crew, marking the point Descending into Gaza Sr Hard on the brakes Doodby: Newbree? Newbree: ... Doodby: Hey, bud- you there Newbree: Now- ALL STOP! Doodby: Aaah! Newbree: *sniggers* Newbree: Right, it should be about here... right here Doodby: OK dude, plant the flag, we need to get back now Newbree: Roger that And so they went Moving back the same way, but up the hill we couldn't go down at the start of the Gaza descent First Trip- Complete
