Will it allow ships to have more parts before lagging? I use 12gb of RAM but don't use any mods so don't know if i'll see any change.

Yeah the Co-23 is poorly armoured and built for looks. Shoot at a Co-21 for a real challenge.

You could do that but the whole point of the K-Drive is to provide a warp drive to those who want to keep the game stock.

Very few working ones remain and those that do are now unreliable and very weak. Oh well at least it was 5 minutes of fame. From what people had gathered the drive worked by landing legs clipping through an object to press on another. This somehow cancelled one side of the force out. Wasn't good for the legs though and they broke easily. 0.23.5 improved the joint system which just causes the legs to break the second they are deployed. I've managed to get docking ports to make phantom forces but no working drive yet... Also no one was truly sure how they really worked and that's all just peoples theories so everything I just typed may be completely wrong.

Hydrogen perhaps? Though how would it ignite it? I've always pictured dragons built in a roughly similar way to pterosaurs so theoretically that may be possible.

Desperate for a full spaceplane update with new aerodynamics and light re-entry risk. This would probably take several updates though.
