  1. Is anyone else having issues with radiators not venting waste heat built up from solar panels? I have made 15 different versions of a comms satellite and used every type of inline and radial radiator in the mod and they will NOT vent heat no matter how many I put on the satellite. I builds up heat and stores heat but will NOT vent heat unless all solar panels are closed and it is on the dark side of the planet. All of my satellites worked great before with 1 small radial radiator per 1 1x6 solar panel, now I have even tried putting 1 2.5 meter inline radiator for just 1 solar panel and it still just builds up heat with no venting. I know the fold out radiators are better for space but I have not unlocked them yet. I kind of wish I had a mode which re-arranged the tech tree so I got more satellite/probe stuff before I got all this manned mission stuff as it makes no sense to send manned missions to planets first... Any help would be appreciated.
  2. SergeantBlueforce, It has been my experience this mod gives you better texture quality and memory savings over using the menu texture reduction. rbray89, I have to say out of all the mods I have this one is the MOST IMPORTANT! I could not run my game with all the mods I want without this mod. Thank you for your effort on this mod.
  3. I suggest you watch this video from Scott Manley... http://youtu.be/ZNXTFj3ozNY
  4. So I have constructed a lifter to put a satellite in space using a main central rocket and 8 radial jet engines. When using this design I completely loose control of the craft when the jet engines shut down due to lack of air at the rising altitudes. I have seen people put together lifters using jet engines before but I am not sure how they are remaining in control when the jet engines burn out. I guess my questions are: Is it possible to use jet engines and remain in control after they burn out? Is there a way to have them power down automatically before they burn out? I do not want to stage them to detach as I am trying to make the lifter re-usable. Any and all suggestions would be welcome. Different topic, how do I add images without hosting them online somewhere?
  5. First just let me say I am not sure this goes here but seeing as I just started playing I took my best guess... Back to my Celebration....!!!! OMG, I finally did it!! I picked up this game this weekend after watching several youtubers playing in on their channel. I have spent the last 2 days slaving and toiling (read trying, sucking, and failing) to put not only my first successful geosync orbit together but to man it with 3 Kerbins and a satellite to leave in that orbit and get them all home without incident. This game is crazy fun and supper frustrating but I just love it!
