  1. Bought it this April. Played the demo for about 2 weeks. Till I heard that Squad, due to their miss communications, where letting those that buy the game aquire free expansions and what ever else was in their miss communications. Then bought it on 28th of April about. Talk about insentives Squad was giving.
  2. Yeah. That is the problem with the Mün. It gets even better on Minmus, Gilly and Eeloo.
  3. Wpould also like to blame Squad for their mess up too for the buy before April (2013) ends and get free expansions.
  4. Killing Kerbals again. But, in 3s. =^.^= All in the name of getting the largest shuttle looking command pod up as a SSTO space plane.
  5. Also Scott Manly think thatis how his name is spelled has some excellent YouTubes on the subject as well on just about everything else.
  6. Jasc Paint Shop Pro 8. Only because I don't have to buy something newer.
  7. I blame the people on Star Citizen Chat roll for talking about it so much.
  8. Yeah. Good luck on that one. Have yet to get the rover chair seated right in the right spot so when the kerbal sits on the chair he keeps the craft centered.
  9. The Ion Probe I can understand why the batteries where added. If you need to burn for a long time which is almost always. One will need a lot of juice. Same thing for solar panels. Batteries are needed when you are in the shadow of a planet or moon and need to burn for any length of time. The rest. I do agree that it would be nice if they had better designs to work off of. But, there are not bad examples to try and work off of.
  10. Well yestarday I finally got my deep space probe to orbit Eeloo. Only took 30 years x days to get there. Now I'm waiting to for the Kerbals... I mean Squad to invent new star systems.
  11. Might I suggst the can lander or the hitchhiker for the Habitation modual. Both of these will fit on the orange tanks.
  12. I think so. His vids are good to watch.
  13. I'll be seeing how fast the kerbals reproduce... All in the name of science!
  14. Today... I'm taking a short brake from KSP while I think of how to kill Kerbals off in 0.21 when it comes out.
  15. The legs should work as long as they hit something. Just hope the hit at the same time. As I know there have been people that used lander legs as claws for thier tugs when they wantt o push debris into Kerbins atmosphere. Anddo youreally need all those solar panels?
  16. Added 2 RSC tanks with the smallish rocket fuel tanks that have docking ports on each end to this: Goal is to get to Jool again so I can set it up as a refueling station as well as hopefully getting that probe to land on one of Laythe's island and not in the water like my last probe sent there. Waiting upon my Eeloo encounter with another craft that has been wating a long time. Just only 37+ years.
  17. Main thing is to keep the ship balanced as inhumanly possable and remember what planet / moon you are desiging the rover for as some need very wide bases as well as more mass to be effective.
  18. Think I might still have the craft. But, anyways. Tis was a craft that more then likely had way to much fuel for what was needed and was only a single Kerbal craft too.
  19. Finish making it to Eeloo is one (Been waiting and forgetting about it for 3x Kerbal years). The other is to get to Jool again. But, this tim with a craft with disposable fuel takes, welli f I choose to dispose of them as what I have added as docking ports at each end. Could wind up with a space station that has a probe for managment. Already ended all my man'ed flights due to not wanting dead Kerbals found in my ships due to possable identity crisis they might have.
  20. Good luck in getting the alignments right is all I can say.
  21. @Deadweasel: Depends on how the person uses words. For myself anime is very general and hits all areas not just Japan. But, do agree it is high quality for the time period. Ever watch "Fire and Ice"? And yeah Malfuntions rover does look like that bot.
  22. Would be nice if it hits this week. But, I can wait a few weeks to get it. =^.^=
  23. @Whackjob: I think it could be that Unity (think that is what this game uses?) is optimized for 32 bit systems and that the new OS that use 64 bit might not be running the programs as effectively as they should be.. Wish I remembered where I saw what Squad was using. Anyway. Less parts can better in the long run as there will be less mass to push. Regardless there are plenty of designs one can try out You could also think about using the largest docing clamp too for the orange tanks. =^.^=
  24. You are more then likely right. But, then again. With docking ports we might now be able to transfer from ship to ship without using EVA for transfers too. Just that the way they worded it at the time. It made ity sound like anywhere one would nomally go. Like those structure parts and if you also noticed on almost every part bigger then a Kerbal. The ends of the parts do look like they could be airlocks. At least for myself.
