To all you "OCD" players out there; strive for realism. Very few space programs actually deorbit debris (none) even though I'm sure a few of you will prove me wrong. Space debris is one of my favourite parts of KSP. All those pretty flames...

I beg pardon, good sir. Get into a vacuum, jettison one very strong electromagnet, of opposite polarity, to repel the other magnet, switch off, have the magnet be atracted back, restart. One you have achieved motion, only gravity will stop you. Newtonian physics are a god-send to theorists. Some needs to make a mod of this.

I thin we should not try out this test as to the amount of G-force Kerbals can survive, lest we get taken to the Inter-Kerbal Krimes Kourt on Kerbin to with with aliens purposely slaughtering thousand of Kerbalnauts for "science". After all, the Kourt might rule we would have to take part in the tests.
