Are there any chances we can get some shorter engines more suited to landing?

Is the "prevent overheats" option compatible with the new NERVA engines? I've heard stories of people's engines exploding at half throttle.

I mean glow (as in emit light due to heat) like the engine bells do as they heat up.

Although we already have (and will) have a way to measure the temp of parts of our rocket, I think a quick way to visualize it would be parts glowing dull red like the engine bells of rockets.

I dislike the barn because it seems to be over emphasizing the "kerbal" aspect of kerbals. They don't launch explosive barrels into space willy nilly. They launch explosive barrels into space in a relatively controlled fashion, no matter how many times "mission failure" is synonymous with "exploded on the launch pad"

My craft is made of stock parts, but I have TAC life support? Will this mess up the file on your end? Because I have a wacky little plane I'd like to submit haha.

I never use that stupid little rockomax engine that everybody loves so much. The fairings don't adapt to 1.25 meter for it which makes me sad.

I'd love to be the one Kerbal who I have drive the Karbonite fuel truck to the rocket so I can ship it up to my space station for refinement.

I like to make big boxy, utilitarian vacuum only vessels, while anything that goes into the atmosphere has to be sleek and streamlined.

I've done everything except for gravity assists, docking and precision landing.

I like to use MJ for my rover trips, but I hate having to babysit it because sometimes it still flips over.

I'm not too fond of the model, something about it seems off. I think it's the head shape.

I mod it till it crashes, and then I install one more mod for good measure.

I've recently installed this modpack (loving it so far, orbit is so much harder!!), and I was wondering if there was any way to get mechjeb to do an ascent for me and put me into the inclinated orbit I wanted?

So forums, here's a question: How do you guys name your vessels/missions? I personally like to choose the first noun that pops into my head when looking at my rocket, and then I slap a roman numeral onto the end for the mission number. Although all of my test craft are given greek/roman names and then alpha, beta, etc.

I like the models for the male/female docking ports, and I am waiting eagerly for a 2.5 m part.

My largest rocket to date was probably my saturn v clone, but I think my most impressive was my launch system for my space shuttle Icarus. Icarus crashed (wings first).

I would like to see some 3.75 m love. 3.75 m orbital engines, SAS units, command pods and probes, monopropellant tanks, the whole nine yards.

I have been attempting to make space shuttles all day. Nothing is working! My shuttles are designed to be able to land w/o any fuel (runway or no runway) but they have a serious problem with the nose end of the craft; nothing will make it move up, and I don't want to add any silly looking canards to my space plane.

Will a module for asteroid rendezvous be available in the future? (Automatically grabbing the asteroid with your Klaw, and possibly even centering your vessel on the CoM.)
