  1. I added the starlab to my life supported space station in Kerbin orbit today, it had 200+ days of each LS category plus recycler/converter/greenhouse attached and running. I had to restart KSP2 after docking in order for LSS not to kill a kerbal when I transferred them to the Starlab part. Couldn't find a similar report of the bug in here, so it could have just been a random glitch.
  2. This is a minor, but significant, mod I'm missing from KSP1. Feels like there's really nothing to do on landings anymore now that I lack this. Whenever you get around to it, it'd be well received here.
  3. Thanks for keeping us updated! I'm very pleased to see a couple of the experiments hit off for me during a long flight to Duna, so I'm pretty pleased by the mod so far. Do you ever run into a lot of notifications at moderate-high timewarp at all? I only have this and Orbital Survey mods that add experiments, and I'm consistently running into Experiment Interrupted notifications when I go above 50x timewarp. I'm guessing this is KS because other experiments are run in real time. I turned off all the orbital survey parts that are launched, so all I'm left with is Kuriosity.
  4. There's even a mission to put a satellite in keostationary orbit, could easily use that for your comm relay and then throw others into different orbits to catch the signal when KSC is occluded.
  5. I can't believe this isn't in the game yet, so thank you for modding it in! Took it to the Dark Side of the Mun and been seeing in color ever since.
  6. Okay, that helps a bit. I also dug through the files, trying not to spoil myself, but now that I see there's a long period during which they can trigger and some differing circumstances, I'm not ready to say for sure that my install isn't working. I might suggest some faster, low-key experiments just to whet the appetite, as it were, for the Kerbals and players alike. Like spending a few hours in Kerbin orbit or something more readily achievable. The first Kuriosity experiment that appears is probably going to feel like magic! Having some in-game indication of where/how an experiment might become eligible would help with direction. Like attaching them to the mission dialogues, or adding a mission for some of them, or adding on attributes to certain parts (to be seen in R&D or the VAB) that are used for experiments. Vague suggestions are fine, just some indication of: hey, spend some time in this area or this part and Kerbals might do some extracurricular science on their own. EDIT: Or maybe some integration with Science Arkive?
  7. This is a great idea. Do you have a screenshot or something to demonstrate how it works? I installed but am not seeing experiments being run or the option to, and would like to compare with the expectation before I start troubleshooting mod conflicts.
  8. I'm encountering antimatter tanks not maintaining containment at extreme timewarp. 1000X (2 before the max) works fine, but going above that will zero out the stored antimatter periodically. I have a exo harvester in Kerbin orbit at the first band of antimatter. I scanned the log files for an explanation but didn't find anything, nor was there an on-screen message at the time the antimatter amount zeroed out. EDIT: Just had it happen on 1000X warp as well now.
  9. It did! Trying to clean up the log for just the relevant DR parts for this. I added the DLL and started KSP, went straight to the ship right away. 10. I'm having the mod report a bad docking rotation on a connection I haven't used rotation on. I also cannot undock or decouple these docking ports through the game PAW. 11. I'm also having this issue. At least I was, I tried replicating it after a KSP and computer reboot to get a clean log file, and now I can't get it to error. I'll try to grab the log the next time it happens, because it does happen from time to time now.
  12. I came to find the same issue a couple weeks ago, so here's the two places I found it in this thread:
  13. Absolutely love this pod and its launch system. It led me to read up about the Fuji spacecraft and I sincerely wish this had made it to production phase (especially with those Outlaw Star manipulator arms on the top). At least I can make it fly in KSP. Thanks @Well.
  14. Eh, I'd rather not. I find that often influences the COM too much and makes docking ports flip capsules on reentry without using SAS/RCS to stabilize them (and that's not preferred, capsules should self-safe on reentry if properly weighted).
  15. The side-by-side comparison really shows off your progress. Great job!
  16. Please finish these up (give us some female Kerbals of famous nature) and package it. Despite being a bit creepy, it's hilariously so. I want to use these in an RSS game just for the heck of it.
  17. Them's fighting words! Science fiction fandom is serious business, mind how casual you are.
  18. I'll be honest, I love this mod purely for the hydroponics spheres. They look great on my (soon-to-be-built) deep space cruiser. Still, thanks for maintaining this for 1.1.x!
  19. Too lazy to quote everything, but I'm talking about the APAS docking port. I find it much easier to use the CBM alignments, which ring the outside, than lining up fins on the inside. The colliders will help, I think, but I agree that the soft docking is little more than a gimmick at this point. If the soft dock would use colliders, then I think we'd be golden. That, or if the outside bars were remodeled to align with the inner fins on both sides (so that matching up the external bar assembly would get you to one of the perfect alignment spots for docking) then that would be a great boon to the APAS system. I still love using them for passenger vehicles like NASA does, but I'm tempted to revert back to CBMs for convenience (despite it having an uglier port).
  20. I'm going to have to try it out in a separate install sometime, maybe I'll replace NF at some point.
  21. Very cool. I'm a little attached to Near Future, but I'm so glad there are different mods out there. I love the different nozzles and the thermal heating. +1
  22. I'm having trouble getting this to work. I'm using Near Future's AFTER ion engines, and despite trying to configure the MM config myself, or using the one provided in page 2, my time warp keeps breaking as soon as I engage. It only happens when I have ModuleFX configured for the engines, if I just have PersistentEngine it works without any thrust.
  23. So, I'm not exactly sure if I'm doing this correctly. If I build the pad so that my rocket bell fits in the cutout (and the tail clamps can reach the tanks), I have to use part clipping and it usually winds up with my rocket disconnected from the fuel tanks. If I place the rocket above the cutout, fitting the cutout node to the rocket bell bottom node, then the tail clamps don't reach (they probably clamp as far as the game is concerned, but they're not tall enough to reach the tanks and look like they're grabbing on to air). Offsetting won't work, either, as the pad snaps to the outer edges rather than letting me offset over the cutout. The tail clamps won't offset either. It seems like the pad needs several nodes placed further down below the cutout, so you can select which one lines up engines and tanks for clamp connections. Or the tail clamps need to be able to rise to the level of the first tank.
  24. Oh my gosh, this is amazing! I love this tower, I'm going to be using it for all my manned launches (goodbye FASA tower). I wonder if you have any plans to make other towers/umbilicals for different rockets? What you have is the approximation of Launch Complex 39, which fits really well with Kerbal Space Center. But other rockets, typically unmanned, launch without the top crane in their towers. The towers for Titan/Delta, Ariane and Atlas are pretty similar, just big bricks with the umbilicals, but Soyuz/Progress and Falcon have unique towers.
