  1. The ocean floor suddenly jumped out at Valentina in the darkness. She saw it looming out of the shadows and pulled up in an attempt to avoid contact, but the rear of the craft grazed the sea floor, destroying some balast and a vital control surface, as well as knocking one of the engines off. The pictures show how she wrestled with the controls in an attempt to regain some control, so as to avoid surfacing too fast because of the sudden increase in buoyancy, but the craft nevertheless took extra damage when it burst through the surface like a cork from a champagne bottle, as can be seen in the last image.
  2. That was actually my favourite moment from this entire mission so far. Totally unplanned (I was supposed to have a sub and another RIB in reserve at this point, remember) but it worked out really well. Improvisation for the win
  3. I like @qzgy's craft, but it seems to be just about to explode at the moment the video stops. I understand that he has got it working, but I think it's supposed to work within those three official runs, in which case, that seems to be a DQ, in my mind. I didn't submit any crafts so I'm unbiased, just giving an opinion
  4. The mission continues: https://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/166447-the-moderation-nation-space-program/&do=findComment&comment=3571547
  5. It will be interesting to see who gets the best speed/cost ratio
  6. Looks like we have a new deadline! Discussion continues here
  7. But you can PM a moderator with a link to the profile if that's needed.
  8. Well, that depends on how much Squad is involved. I guess management must be involved in the partnership, and maybe QA, but I don't think any of the KSP developers working on the PC/Linux/Mac version are directly involved. I could be wrong.
  9. If I recall correctly, Blitworks were named in the original announcement.
  10. I see Squad taking a lot of blame here, and I guess they must be involved somehow, but I don't actually know how much Squad are involved in the console release. The company hired to work on the console release is Blitworks.
  11. It's because we don't have any negative "reactions". Terribly toxic users who had to be banned in the end also have an "excellent" reputation. Even some spambots have amazing reputations according to the forum. So it means nothing. Not sure if it can be changed, though. I can't with the tools I have, anyway.
  12. The way to stop being quoted in a conversation is to stop participating in it. If you post something here on a public forum, people can and will reply. Having said that, it would be nice to get the topic at least actually started. Who wants to talk about how mods can be made and distributed for console games?
  13. Looks really nice, but you forgot to flip the blue colours around
  14. @Lisias, You have repeatedly said that we can call it what we want, right? Then why do you keep arguing the point? Everyone, including you, knows that we are not talking about hacking the console itself or doing anything illegal. Plenty of people call add-ons "mods" to the point that some people can't even find the correct section of the forum because it doesn't have the word "mods" in it. You have informed us that "home brew" is a term, and that's fine. If you want to refer to it as "home brew", go ahead, but you might find you'll have to explain to a few people what you're talking about. As plenty of people have pointed out, the word "mod" can also be used for console games. Type "mods for consoles" in Google (with the quotes) and you'll see that the word "mod" is not a problem in the correct context. Now that we are all on the same page, and we all know what the discussion is about, how about we drop the whole side discussion about what to call it and discuss the topic instead?
  15. Searching for "mods for consoles" shows a lot of discussions about mods for consoles. Just sayin'... Seems like an unnecessary exercise in pedantics to me.
