  1. Science mode looks much better. I feel I'm goimg to miss funds, though.
  2. @kspbutitscursed learns to make RO configs before the New Glenn rocket is even tested because Blue Origin are taking ages to do anything. Rock-paper-scissors-shoot, anything you want to do!
  3. I believe this is a case where his own rule No. 1 should be applied: Make your requirements less dumb
  4. Super-Tylo exists in the universe in complete harmony. Humanity gazes up into the infinite night sky and is awed by the majesty before them. People find themselves inspired to settle their differences and build a new harmonious and sustainable society. Starvation is no more, wars cease, poverty becomes a thing of the past, all diseases are cured, pollution is finally brought to an end, and that noisy neighbour finally comes to see things your way. Everybody wins. Rock-paper-scissors-shoot, anything you want to do!
  5. It can't exist at all, I think is the point. If the developers have already chosen to bend the rules on reality, who is any one of us to dictate where to draw the line? Interesting to see how diverse we all are in our thinking.
  6. They did say on the stream that they were planning for a water landing
  7. It's basically the same as gyroscopic procession, right? So my point was, why not position the turbo pump so that rotation of the ship is along that longitudinal axis? But that would require a special version of Raptor just for those engines that need to be fired up during hot staging. If they're ready to go in 3-4 weeks, we can probably assume this wasn't the issue, or that they have a few ideas for dealing with it.
  8. Don't/can't they have booster rotation on the same axis as the pump rotors?
  9. Thanks @DennisB, I have snipped the link for security reasons but someone will look into it.
  10. I believe the solution to this is to redirect significant resources into paper production.
  11. If the subject you are referring to is a matter we are allowed to discuss freely on this forum, then go ahead because it is on topic for this thread. If, however, someone were to ask what you mean and you are not able to explain what you are referring to because it would break the rules, then we shouldn't be mentioning it at all.
  12. Yep, on https://www.spacex.com/launches/mission/?missionId=starship-flight-2
  13. I think @Dakitess means that, since the team is not known to curate their images, the improvement we are seeing in the latest previews is a really good sign.
  14. An anomaly from a Saturn V launch turns out to be a portal in a cloud that captured the interstage ring, which subsequently appeared from the other portal over Sverdlovsk. In a remarkable coincidence, the ring just happens to pop out in time to crash into a passing U2 plane piloted by Gary Powers. @TheKosmonaut wins. Rock-paper-scissors-shoot, anything you want to do!
  15. Looks like they're going to be streaming it on the SpaceX website as well as Totally-Not-Twitter. - SpaceX - Launches Also, what the heck is CT? Central Time? Central what Time? UTC exists, you know...
  16. Ðat is actually a great idea, and I'm all for it.
