  1. Wow... this Morningstar Fighter looks a lot better than my version of it... (it was from an older KSP version)
  2. If any of you read the Star Wars Legacy comics, you'd probably saw one of these starfighters... The Incom X-83 TwinTail is the latest in the X-Wing line. When you're flying this, I absolutely discourage sudden pitching up or down... Mod used: Infernal Robotics Craft file: http://kerbalx.com/pheeph/X-83-TwinTail.craft
  3. This here is the most common fighter that served the Kilrathi Empire in the first "Wing Commander" game. It was also flown by Christopher Blair during the Firekka campaign. Be careful when you fly this thing when taking off... it pitches up rather quickly due its wing design. The center of lift was a bit far forward so the RCS tanks were placed in front to move the center of mass forward a bit. Craft file: http://kerbalx.com/pheeph/Dralthi-II.craft
  4. Star Citizen and Wing Commander were both created by Chris Roberts. So you may see the similarities...
  5. This is based on the two-seat heavy fighter flown by the Kilrathi in "Wing Commander III: Heart of the Tiger". When I played the game, the Vaktoths were a complete pain to fight... I had to put some RCS tanks in the front just to keep the center of mass close to the center of lift. Craft file: http://kerbalx.com/pheeph/Vaktoth.craft
  6. This craft was the standard fighter of the Confederation in "Wing Commander III: Heart of the Tiger". This is all stock parts and built for 1.0.5. A number of control surfaces are buried in the large space in the wings... though I can't get it to roll any faster... Craft file: http://kerbalx.com/pheeph/Hellcat-V.craft
  7. This craft came from "Wing Commander IV: The Price of Freedom" It's an atmospheric craft flown by the Union of Border Worlds Craft file: http://kerbalx.com/pheeph/Vindicator.craft
  8. Glad you like it. I wish I could SSTO the Cloakshape Fighter... there's always the issue of thrust and fuel capacity. You can check out the other replicas of Star Wars ships I made based on the X-Wing series of games: Assault Gunboat: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/124518-X-Wing-Series-Cygnus-XG-1-Starwing-Assault-Gunboat TIE Avenger: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/124622-X-Wing-Series-TIE-Avenger?highlight=tie+avenger
  9. This plane is based on the Cloakshape Fighter from X-Wing Alliance. The Space Tug mod was exactly what I needed for the cockpit. The Cloakshape Fighter was best used as a defensive fighter. These were said to be around before the Clone Wars. They weren't the best dogfighters, but their armor made up for that... It could also be modified a lot... More info on that here: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/CloakShape_fighter Try not to pull a tight turn shortly after takeoff... it could nosedive. Mods used: Space Tug http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/83364 RasterPropMonitor http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/117471-1-0-RasterPropMonitor-still-putting-the-A-in-IVA Craft file: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/83364
  10. Is there a mod out there with a cockpit part that's practically a bulb in the front? If there is, I hope it's a small one... Here's an example from the Cloakshape Fighter from X-Wing Alliance: http://media.moddb.com/images/mods/1/11/10611/cloakshapefighter_1_4.png
  11. This thread is it... http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/71344-Kamov-Ka-22-Vintokryl?highlight=vintokryl
  12. Wow... never expected to see something like this really work... I once had a replica of a Russian helicopter/airplane hybrid. It was the Ka-22 Vintokryl.... that's not easy to fly...
  13. Another interior design idea at work... the Kerbal RV. Kinda like a two-floor camper. Almost up to 400 parts... Can it be space-capable? We'll see... You'll need the following mods: Magic Smoke Industries Infernal Robotics, and the Glass panels mod (I think it's under GlassThings). Craft file: http://www./download/pu25avzfwajqk18/Kerbal_RV.craft
  14. Something I did just for fun... If any of you seen the anime Tenchi Muyo, you probably saw the cabbit that can turn into a giant spaceship that the space pirate Ryoko flew in. The flight is very short-lived so enjoy it while you can... There's the Ryo-Ohki. Well... sort of... I did my best to stay close to the design... I didn't have any parts that resembled a giant ball in the center... the Stayputnik is too small for that... Ryo-Ohki takes off! Onward, Ryo-Ohki! Or not... two of the engines burned out before the rest. The parachutes and the airbrakes weren't enough... Fortunately, the real Ryo-Ohki wasn't harmed during this flight... Craft file (if you wanna play with it): http://www./download/fjdl1grheabinxi/Ryo-Ohki.craft
  15. Given the changes in the physics engine, I can only make narrow-sized modules. Previously, I had other ones like the Space Bar and the Space Lounge.
