  1. lol it should be the opposite, jeb, bill and bob are the only ones that respawn, the other ones die and never appear again
  2. out of the sun's SOI? no sadly it's imposible,i mean you can obtain escape velocity but you can't leave the system, the SOI of the sun is infinite, that means you're never going to escape the sun, so recreate voyager is impossible in ksp
  3. why it seems like suddendly everybody has problems with the ladder of this pod, i don't remember people complaining about it before, i never had a problem with it, i love that pod
  4. why i cant even get pass 15000 m in ksp 0.7.3? when i downloaded it i tought "wow this is going to be so easy" but everything i do fails! :C
  5. yes and no, no because you cant imagine the countless hours of fun i've spent with supersonic engineless planes, fliying wings that go all the way up to space and other things yes because when im playing a little bit more seriosly and make rockets, actual planes, i like to desing them smooth and good looking and well, the nosecones with stock aerodynamics cause drag and make the whole thing worse, so somethimes i like to play with FAR, but when im that bored i like stock aerodynamics for the sake of fun
  6. mine's is BFTTMFT mkII 2 wich is means "BIG FLIYING THING THING THAT MUST FLY THIS TIME mkII 2" its a huge rocket that doens't want to fly :C and after a lot of tries and fixes it flew but it kept the name
  7. i'll be happy as f*ck i mean i will be one of the few people that went to the moon, or really close to it, i mean of course i would liked to land on it, but orbit is great enough
  8. first colony to alpha centauri around year 3000 seems way too optimistic to me, but i have no doubts that around that year solar system will be heavily colonized

  10. i read somewhere that nothing can land, manned or unmanned or even aproach more than 100m to the apollo landing sites, im not sure how much the distances werw exactly or if it was only applied for apollo 11 landing site, :C
  11. so today i was playing ksp, everything just normal, just launched a new probe destined to minmus, i did land it but then i discovered part of the trasnfer stage had impacted relativelty close to the landed and some parts survided, just a fuel tank nothing out od the ordinary, but then it came to my mind, what sorts of debris will be around my system floating without me knowing about? so today i started the debris search. searching for the most interesting crap i could find, theres a lot out there so expect some updates really soon! get ready: ----THE TRANSFER STAGE---- this saturn v-esque -slightly based on the S-IVB-object capted my attention mainly because of two things, first it mass and second, it still had some fuel! sadly it not usable, there were other parts attached radially to the tank because i remember crashing the whole ship , but the core probre got destroyed and i lost track of most parts, i still cant believe i didn't see something that big those are not farings, its conic fuselages i was testing the rocket capabilities C: ----THE WRECKED SHIP---- now don't know if i can consider this one as debris, it stills shows up at the tracking station, and its still functional if a kerbal its piloting it, but theres no way to get it out of there, its stuck,believe, i tried a lot, anyway the story is simple, i tried to land on the dark side, got distracted for a second and didn't see the radar altitude managed to avoid crash but ship ended turned sideway, i sended the exact same ship to rescue it and everybody returned safe with their happy families flag was planted by rescue team ----THE ESCAPE TOWER THAT ESCAPED---- now most of the debris i got is decoplers that end up in the same trajectories that my mun landers when i try to dock the command module with the landet and i have to separate the CSM engone with the landers docking port, but this got me surprised, a escape tower in a really high orbit! normally i jettison them after first stage sep, but this really got me curios, how it endend up su high? i must send a shuttle to recover it, museums will kill each other for it ----MUN'S LANDER 2.0 AFTERMATH---- so yeah, i redesigned the lander , this is mostly a bonus pic, because im mostly aware that after lifoff the landing stage remains where it landed, but it makes a pretty picture, makes me think how the apollo landing sites may look now ------------------------------------------- its almost creepy seeing it all empty ----There's still a lot more to come!-----

  13. me siento extraño al ver que todos ponen naves unicamente stock y yo soy el unico en poner naves modeadas :I, he aqui el saturno v recreado minuciosamente, con capacidad muy similar al real, pero en dimensiones para ksp, utiliza KW,AIES y stretchy tanks, estoy orgulloso de el luego tengo este cohete, para sondas espaciales, todavia no tiene nombre ni he probado su capacidad de carga a LKO, ¿me ayudan a ponerle nombre?

  15. im having problems with delta-v display, in the VAB is much higher than on the launchpad, so i never have an idea of how much dV i have

  17. well, for what i know, its almost impossible yo build an ssto on earth due the great delta-v needed to achieve orbit, but on the other hand, earth's atmosphere doesn't have a perfect limit, it doesnt just end at certain altitude as kerbin's atmosphere, all ships in LEO need a propulsion system so every once in a while they get a little boost so they don't fall again due to a little bit of atmospheric friction, in kerbin once its in orbit, it will never fall again so intakes work differently on earth than on kerbin

  19. i have been trying to recreate a fully functional saturn V in a while and i recently finished it, its modded craft btw i think it looks nice, i tried my best to make it look like the real thing and also being capable of going to the mun or even beyond, i have the subassembly of the ship thats only the 3 stages without any command module as well i have a entire ship, the subassembly only uses procedural fairings, stretchy tanks,KW and AIES the full ship, with CSM and lander,uses ALCOR for the lander module i know in needs a lot of mods but its easy to fly, just like any simple rocket without needing action groups second stage, i tried using 5 engines here but it tended to explode after staging so i used only 1 griffon xx,the engine in the picture, problem is solved now third stage, ignited twice, for orbit and TMI, has enough fuel to enter mun orbit without using the CSM fuel
  20. yes, but you can get easily impatient of watching such long burns, i can't be sitting playing a game for hours just to get the probe into the right trajectory, i think anyone can't do it, its just too long
  21. dont worry guys, im sure things will work out fine in the end, "we may be having a little storm right now, but im pretty sure the sun will come again sooner or later" these budget cuts will end someday, maybe not tomorrow but soon indeed

  23. i agree, theres isn't too much people with really high interest about space, but this game made that number grew, a lot
