  1. Well... I just copied the whole "save" folder onto a separate HDD to install ScanSat, started up the game and ribbons gone. - So that one went as expected Somehow I thought it would be enough to copy over the "save" folder again, but that didn´t do the trick. - So now I´m stranded... what exactly is meant by "copy the FF data" ? [Edit] Okay so what I did to get this working again is: In the loaded Game (Careermode [where SCANSat was installed and Ribbons went missing]) I made a new quicksave named it "ribbonsdamnit".sfs after saving I "alt+F4"ed out of the game. I went to the previously saved folder opened the "persistent.sfs" that was automatically done when I shut down the game yesterday night. I copied out all of the text in there and than I opened "ribbonsdamnit".sfs where I deleted all text and copied in the text from the previously copied "persistend.sfs", saved that and started up the game, loaded my savegame, went to the settings to allow quickloading (since I played Careermode prohibiting to load), loaded the "ribbonsdamnit" quicksave and TAAADAAA I´m happy again [/Edit]
  2. okay so I left the ship docked at my asteroid yesterday in the late night, shut down the PC went to bed, got up, started KSP loaded savefile, went to tracking station and loaded my asteroid miner, aaaaand the camera went total crazy, I couldn´t zoom in or out, didn´t see anything but kerbin, altimeter went down, camera through the planet, and than out of kerbin system... I probably shouldn´t have tried out the 0.0.2 ORE release of regolith, but there is no "excavator" in the newer files.... anyway, all my other crafts (four in total) had the same issue.. so I guess I´m gonna try the vanilla thingy and then reinstall all the mods one by one...

  4. Okay, so now I got myself a fairly big one, and still the same problem. How often does a bugged Asteroid occur? I´m new to the resource mods, except for kethane. Is there a possibility that Hyperedit might interfere with this mod, cuz to try it out I decided to launch my first asteroid catcher from LKO, insted of launchpad. I´ve not screened all 4 try´s but from tiny to huge none of my asteroids seem "meltable"
  5. Hey there, I got a little problem, probably not even a bug. I´m trying to "recycle" an Asteroid here, and basicly the "melter" does no work. Using version 0.5.0 of Karbonite, K+ 0.3.0 and 0.6.0 of ART, installed in that order, never used any USI mods before, so no earlier version that wasn´t uninstalled or such things. After experiencing this problems, I also downloaded and installed CRP 0.3.1 and USITools 0.3.0 seperatly, still the "Jaw" is not showing the option to melt. I ended up trying to dublicate the vessel used in the video and in the title screen, but no matter how I arrange the parts, it doesn´t seem to work. Oh and I´m using KSP V 0.90 Any ideas how to solve this?

  7. Hey thnx for the quick help, I´m not using ATM as well, but your hint regarding other mods interfering with the clouds is good, I´ll focus on that
  8. Can you please explain the requirements a bit closer? I thought I´ve all those installed, changed the marked part in "@default.cfg", but still the same problem. On any ascent or decent I´ll have to pass a cloud layer even if there shouldn´t be any. thanks for helping
  9. Hey Bob, first of all: Nice Work on your KSS! I´m tryin to rebuild a certain part of your Station, you named it "GR-2 Heat Radiator". I was able to get rid of the textures so they do look more like the "ISS TCP`s". I also managed to make it non sun tracking (which is a huge thing for me cuz I´m not that familiar with the simplest code editing). Small changes in size is also no problem anymore. Right now I´m stuck with the "waste heat reduction function", I can´t get it to work... Inside the VAB it tells my that the customized part is able of reducing waste heat, but when I place my station module on the launchpad, I can´t extend my custimized part. I guess I messed up the .CFG file, so my question is, would you be so kind in sharing the code of your Thermal Control Panel? Would be greatly appreciated.
