  1. Is there an easy way to get the daytime city textures into the current release build (7.4)? I've spent all evening trying to shave off dlls from the overhaul build to get the functionality down to just clouds and city day/night textures, but I can't figure out how to remove the overhaul's ocean and ground textures without removing city textures too.
  2. Is there any way for me to modify my install to separate the deploying and activating behaviours? To elaborate, I'd like to leave the antennas on my spacecraft extended (for vanity reasons) without them actually being activated at that time (to avoid the power drain). This would be slightly similar to the stock behaviour of antennas, where they can remain deployed when not transmitting.
  3. Would that work? Surely they wouldn't line up correctly with landmass and appear on the ocean as well? Or am I fundamentally misunderstanding how this works? lol
  4. Is there an implementation of the daytime city textures for stock Kerbin? I don't want to make the switch from kiddy-size planets just yet.
  5. The two work perfectly together, thanks! You should slap a link to that in the OP in case more people, like me, don't read your signature.
  6. Haha, yup that's what I needed. You might want to put that in the OP so you don't have to deal with more stupid questions. Great mod!
  7. A great, lightweight solution compared to mechjeb! The only thing I think it is missing is horizontal velocity control, to keep the craft in place when using it as a skycrane. I would use mechjeb for this but it doesn't seem to agree with helicopters, as far as I can see.
  8. I'm having difficulty getting this to work. Explosions still function as stock and I can't see the explode button in the debug menu. I'm running a large number of other mods so it might be that. 9. It's funny the first time. Then it stops being funny. Anyone already made a mod to fix this?
  10. Hah, I thought it might have something to do with that. I'll just tweak mine so that they are far cheaper than bipropellant engines.
  11. Does anyone else think the large and efficient monoprop engines are bit flight-of-fancy? I tried hard to find any real-world examples that were over a few kN and 250isp, if someone know's better than me and can point me in the right direction that would be great. This isn't a dig at this excellent mod, I just want to know if I'm being a bit overzealous by modding the cfgs on my install. I wish space agencies had the blank-cheque kind of funding so that they could pull of stuff like this. It would make cosmology a hell of a lot easier.
  12. I'm getting massive (40->10) fps drops from the extra buildings around the KSC. None of the other sites I've tested around Kerbin cause performance drops. Is anyone else having this problem or is this unique to me?
  13. You are brilliant! I missed out the 'Ground Stations' field. It all works fine now. Thanks.
  14. Hey there, I'm trying to add ground stations. I followed the advice of novafire08 in the Kerbin-Side addon thread and put this code in a cfg named RemoteTech_Settings.cfg. It appears to be consistent with the instructions given here. However, it's not working for me at all. I checked if the problem was the settings cfg not being recognised but other settings placed there work without a hitch. It would appear his code worked in 1.4 but not 1.5. Any suggestions? 15. There must be some scientific application for this, I swear.
