  1. When you get close to the actual docking (>75meters)...learn the translation controls while using RCS. This helped me to not go crazy when getting so close and screwing up the whole docking attempt. Using these controls in combination with using the CHASE cam view (press V until it says chase) was amazing help for me. H - RCS thrust translate forward N - RCS thrust translate backward I - RCS thrust translate down J - RCS thrust translate left K - RCS thrust translate up L - RCS thrust translate right
  2. To just rendezvous you want to use the engine(s). Once a rendezvous it set up and you are getting near to docking, then use the translation controls with RCS. Got to http://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/Key_bindings and scroll down to docking.
  3. Make sure you have it actually "researched" in the tech tree. Some add-ons require you to manually research parts of a level and are not just done automatically.
  4. The best thing that helped me out with docking so much was learning the different cameras. Cycle pressing the "v" key and find the CHASE camera. Doing this will make your translation keys always align with your view. It made manual docking a breeze for me...although I have not tried docking more than a single port at a time yet...
  5. HatBat...I give you two thumbs up for that cinematic! Very well put together.
  6. I've only ran KSP on Windows 8 and have had no issues with it. Only problems have come when overclocking my CPU or GPU.
  7. I'm sitting at 173 hours and I've been playing since the later half of April 2013. I will be logging some hours as my GF and her son visiting back to England for about three weeks starting Monday...I may start to turn green...
