Thanks so much Linux. I'll be sure to post in B9PartSwitch. It has been acting odd now that I think about it. Missing menus and such. And let it be known that logs are always needed no matter the severity of the issue. My apologies for thinking otherwise.
Edit: It was Simple Repaint. B9 functionality restored and the illusive vents are now showing upon its deletion. Ill be sure to post in that thread.

Sad to say no luck with installing ZeroMiniAVC. I even deleted GSF. Reinstalled VaporVent too they're nowhere to be found. Heres the KSP.log and Player.log with ZeroMiniAVC installed and GSF deleted.
-
KSP.log and full mod list. I also turned on verbose logging for the player.log
I miss the output_log days. Sorry I would have given them initially I didn't think it severe enough an issue.

Im not using any part pruners. I am using filter extensions. I only have the bottom three. Heres the folder structure.
-
Sorry to bump this again, but I just noticed that the parts featured in the video in the OP ( Timestamp 1:16 ) are no longer available. Those were the actual vapor vents. So.. what gives here?
-
Where are the old vents that omitted a smoke as opposed to a stream? Like in the pics in the OP. Unless im missing them. Ive got three.

So I was addressing that concern (which Motokid600 originally raised, and SciMan responded to, and you responded to) by pointing out that today's announcement addressed that fairly nicely and explicitly. Because "KSP2 being highly moddable" is something that lots of people care about (thus this thread, yes?), and I'd hate to think that there are folks out there who may be needlessly unhappy or anxious because they're worrying about a thing that's been announced is not going to happen.
I agree. Alot of what I was worried about was extinguished with the announcement. Cant wait for it!

Its set to yes. Ill try lowering it, ty. I know Parallax can chug with alot of lights and because of that I avoided Engine Lighting. Yet I suppose they still give off some kind of light. Maybe its Waterfall?
-
Im sorry for asking a question that's probably been answered, but my searching of the subject eludes me. I am suffering from an FPS issue, but only on the surface with multiple engines running. The usual suspects of visual mods. Restock, waterfall, etc. Full list. Oh and Magpie reflections as opposed to TURD.

Remember when we were all chomping at the bit for every launch years ago? I cant even keep up anymore. This is is insane. I hope SpaceX can keep this pace. And I hope the employees aren't being driven into the ground too hard..

I dont suppose Near Future Propulsion support includes Cryo Engines by chance, does it?
-
Does Waterfall work okay with Rocket Sound Enhancements? My search attempts reveal very diverse results.

Again, no microtransactions. This is a non-issue.
We'll see... I hope I'm wrong. I really am. But Take Two does not inspire confidence to say the least.

They have also said that they will be allowing modding.
Yeah until a modder makes something they intended to sell.

They've said no microtransactions, so no chopping up the game for monetization.
I'm sure they said alot of things. "Tell me lies tell me sweet little lies!" Lol.

I wonder why they didn't for 5 years since acquiring the franchise.
Because KSP was an existing game. Now that TT is publisher for KSP2 from the ground up? Beware. I would even bet their the reason updates/news is so slow. Probably fighting with the devs to chop the game up for monetization.
-
I think Take Two being the biggest scum bags in the gaming industry will shower KSP2 modders with DMCA and cease and desists.

I get a -10 fps hit compared to other visual packs. What exactly is there about AVP that makes this so?
-
Is destruction effects included?

You could go into the configs and edit the colors manually if you want? They're located in GameData/Spectra/Spectra_Configs/Spectra_Configs.cfg, it shouldn't be too hard to find the color lines for each planet. Lmk if you have any troubles. Don't use the in game GUI though or what it might break some modulemanager files
I dont seem to have a Spectra_Configs in my installation. Just Spectra_EVE and Spectra_Scatterer. Seems to be working okay. Edit: This it?
Edit2: I had the thought to copy AVP's color profile, but when I opened the atmo file it was the same as Spectra. Lol. So I suppose that might not be it.
-
I swear I remember seeing cloud shadows from orbit at some point. Has this been changed? Im just using BoulderCo, but there was none with AVP either. Edit: They do seem to to appear on land, but not over water.
-
Sorry if this sounds odd, but is there anyway to make this visual pack less... teal?
-
Ive been wondering if this was possible since this mod first releases almost a decade ago. In the sunlight I slide the dimmer to max so no stars. When in shadow I zero it for full stars. I wish so much for this mod to do this automatically.
-
When it comes to the existing visual packs that use EVE ( AVP, Spectra, ect ) will they need to be reconfigured/updated for the volumetric clouds?
[1.11.2] B9PartSwitch v2.18.0 (March 17)
in KSP1 Mod Releases
Posted · Edited by Motokid600
So in my pursuits to find why im missing parts in the Vapor Vent mod Linux was able to help me identify an issue with B9PartSwitch. Im not sure where to start in terms of trouble shooting. Here are my logs.
KSP.log
Player.log
Mod List
Some relevant lines pointed out by Linux.
My suspicions are with mods that add menu functionality on parts. So the IVA switcher ( Reviva ) and Simple Repaint.
Edit: It was Simple Repaint. Functionality was restored with its deletion.
