  1. For the arguement about the Color of the Gas Giant, what if it's Krypton, which when applied with an electric current, glows greenish? We could imagine the giant thunderstorms on the Giant, so it would be plausible for it to be made of Krypton. BTW: This is on topic, it's about the gas giants in the update.
  2. 8/10, lots for the King Santa, but you lost some because I don't believe that you are in my neighborhood, or wearing a spider suit.
  3. No one? BYOND is great for people who want to make their own games too, it's not just for playing games.
  4. Back on topic: Why not name the desert planet Arrakis? In an Homage to "Dune".
  5. Space Station 13 is as the name implies: a space station simulator with widely varying degrees of realism. You are a crewmember and you must survive the happenings on the station, but depending what your job is that may be harder than you think. Even a tiny thing such as the AI messing up and letting someone get hurt can UTTERLY DESTROY the station. You must fight paranoia, disease, and the will to live in order to survive. Traitors who work with the station's enemies might wander in your midst, Revolutionaries who want to be independent from the mother company might be converting your friends as we speak, Syndicate Operatives who hate SS13 are sent to destroy it using the Onboard nuclear device, and the Changeling who could've killed the captain and is impersonating him. Space Station 13 runs on BYOND programming, which is entirely free and is more of a programming platform than a gaming program. You can get BYOND Here So, just wondering, who plays it? I'm betting that I'm the only one here who does, but eh.... I like to tie the internet together. Oh also you can make your own games using BYOND, and you don't have to start from scratch I just checked and there are resources to help you code, also some snippets of code itself.
  6. "Dune", by Frank Herbert, is a must read, same with the "WorldWar" Quadrilogy by Harry Turtledove. The "Worldwar" saga is about a 1941 Earth, and then aliens invade. The powers of the time must work together to defeat the invaders, but how? (BTW the aliens are lizardpeople)
  7. Your Nuka Corp project thread is getting rather dusty, have you not had the time? Or have you lost interest?

  8. Hmm, I wonder if it could be possible to Aerobrake using the Gas Giant and acquire an easy orbit around one of it's (probably) many Micromuns.
  9. Ted I kinda agree with you but once we get weather or some sort of place-holder for it, then the clouds will add detail and prevent planets from being solid colors. Besides I kinda like Eve's Purple atmosphere, it makes it seem exotic and truly alien.
  10. Nerfboy, please edit your posts and not 6xPosting in a row. And I just added the Azure Kite which can go faster than 600m/s. Also, try to at least capitalize 'I', it just gets confusing to read what you posted when it's all lowercase and most words are misspelled.
  11. I want to book a flight out into the middle of the ocean on kerbin, I shall deem it: Sealab (Although it won't be much of a lab, it'll just be kinda floating there.... MEH)
  12. You really don't need all those engines, I got to 600+ m/s on my single-engined Azure KITE(available only at Golden Stingray Inc.). Will get back to this one tomorrow after Summer Camp.
  13. Awesome avatar man, Ventre Bros.?

  14. Step1: Make gigantic rocket capable of making Kerbol Escape Step2: Launch in vague direction of new planet Step3: Wait until my cat gets off the keyboard Step4: Profit.
  15. Not at all, just saying that the coloration of things is usually determined by chemistry. Wonder if there are any super secret hidden suprises waiting for us on those new Muns and Ploonets.
  16. 10/10 for YAHING'GER NORWEGAIN FLAG KA'HING'GER
  17. It IS based on real-world Physics, just not real-world Chemestry.
  18. HURRA HURRA! I finally updated a plane to .16! It is the Azure KITE:Right Here It looks a bit different, but I think I got it. It can now reach speeds PASSING 600m/s.
  19. That new video looked interesting, the fuel tanks you launched looked eerily like a tricoupler with a fueltank at the top, with 3 of the low-altitude airbreathing engines connected. Oh, and if you ever need to change a planet's orbit, say that, "The Kerbals found a huge resevoir of pure rocket fuel under the surface, the resulting explosion was so massive it changed the orbit of Planet"
  20. Too early nuff said I think that the .17 update might be a doozy because before, they said that the terrain engine wasn\'t capable of making new planets, so we would get a huge overhaul to that sector and maybe possibly Kerbin might change a bit.
