  1. So I love this mod and have been using it since release but something just started happening yesterday I've never seen before. I just returned a crew from a space station, they had spent over 60 days in Orbit but upon recovery of the vessel, their mission time was never updated nor was the number of missions they had been on but the new guy on the board got all his ribbons so not sure whats going on, any suggestions?
  2. Real Roster has an option to rotate crew, it also has a few other features such as a black list etc.
  3. So I accidentally hit the II button in the group editor and deleted one my parts from the list of servos and I have no idea how to get it back, thoughts?
  4. Congrats! Its only the beginning.
  5. I don't get why this always gets brought up, every game I've ever played with "career" mode or whatever its called blah blah have always had a save feature...and I always use it before big changes etc. Not sure what makes this game any different.
  6. I always come in with my Periapsis at 25km and the capsules never see more then 2-4 G's. Super heating occurs around 36km and is finished and cooling at around 20km, chutes out at 10-15km.
  7. It has unlimited range if whatever you want to communicate with has a dish with enough range on it. Otherwise I think its only 2.5mn because if you send up a sat with only a 2.5mn omni in GSO it wont be able to connect directly. If the big dishes are going to serve as the dishes then I think KSC should be able to hit a 2.5mn omni in GSO but it won't.
  8. Your right but KSC only has a omni with a short range. While it is possible to link it with a dish around the Mun I find it unrealistic. Sure I can use the dish to send back info but an omni should not be able to transmit to the mun just because I have a dish on the other end. So I built a tower with a dish on it. I plan on putting a GSO sat directly above KSC that will link to my tower and then act as the main relay for the rest of my future network.
  9. Just a story on how much I love this mod. Started a new career, and decided to map the entire surface of the Mun with a SCAN Sat before landing (makes sense right?) So, I did enough manned orbital flights and even 1 manned fly by of the Mun to get enough science for a probe body and the SCAN Sat. Mind you I have no communications in place whats so ever except for a hand built comm tower at KSC with a 90Mm dish. Manually launched to 100km LKO and used the flight computer to insert, then when my spacecraft came back around and was in connect with KSP I pre-programmed the entire flight to the Mun using only the flight computer, including the transfer burn, jettison of the transfer stage, engine activation on final stage followed by 3 separate burns to come into Munar orbit in a polar orbit at 193km and activate the scanner all while out of contact! I love this mod so much lol. Been using it since the 1st release of RT1, the new flight computer is amazing. Being able to pre-program entire flights is insane and super realistic. Also the mapping sat also has a 90Mn dish on it so every so often it does in fact have a connection with KSC and is able to "transmit" the mapping data back to Kerbin.
  10. Hmmm would it be possible to keep scanning even when my mapsat isn't my active ship if I'm using the Never Unload Mod?
  11. I can't wait either, I haven't even touched KSP since the update cause I refuse to play without RT, it just adds so much for me.
  12. Congrats! How did you get the triple chutes along with a docking port? I hate using radial chutes on a pod.
  13. There is 1 rule to building/buying computers and laptops and it holds more true then any other product you could buy... You get what you pay for...
  14. You could get a good GPU for that....but that's it...if you want anything worth a damn your looking at $300 for each item other then the OS, not all of them combined. A good CPU will run you $200-300. Anything less is a waste of money because it wont run **** anyway. You will also need a new MB with the correct socket which will run $150-200. A good GPU will run you $150-200 again, anything else is a waste in this day and age unless your playing games from the 90's early 00's. Operating System to support it all? $100 bare bones OS. I can only suggest Newegg for parts but I don't advise buying any CPU below an i-5 or any GPU with less then 2GB of video ram. Also, you may need more RAM, the new OS suck up a lot more then XP. RAM on the other hand though is cheap as dirt. Last but not least, an upgrade this big will also proably require a new, bigger PSU which will again be around $150 Don't skimp on computer electronics, you get what you pay for. You'd be better off building an all new desktop.
  15. Thats why anytime I'm docked or not doing a burn, either on a spacecraft, station, probe, whatever...my engines are not active lol.
  16. Open the ISA map while in game, click Kerblopydia (something like that) and click settings, you will see the option.
