  1. 23m/s is still pretty fast - about 50mph. The LRV went 11mph. But if you ever want to go really fast take a LV-909 powered rover to a lake on Minmus. You can easily reach orbital velocity in less than a minute so use the aircraft gear as it has no speed limit.
  2. Very slowly since only the rover wheels will work, perhaps a version using tanks with oxidiser and a LV-909 could be worth trying out.
  3. This is the best Apollo I've ever seen, I especially like the way you did the lander decent module. Only way to improve it would be to ad some fairings around the lander at launch.
  4. I think this would be most useful as a super lightweight lander for doing Apollo style missions on Gilly or Minmus or maybe just as a high speed-rover alternative. Can't wait to try it out.
  5. Activating docking mode (the little Easter-egg in the bottom left) will stop any torque acting on it like it does when you fly so your only controlling the rover wheels.
  6. You could dock in staging mode and use the i,j,k,l,h,n keys to complete your docking. I personally find this easier. After that try restarting the game and/or changing your controls.
  7. Do the landing like a normal Mun landing, don't drop the rover until your stable on the ground. This means you may need to bring larger landing gear but it makes up for it in simplicity. For the engines use maybes 4 of the orange radial ones, mounted towards the bottom, they should be enough to get you of the moon with 1 tank and all Your gear. If your using a larger lander go for a pair of the large white radial engines and mount them in the same way. You may want to angle the engines (shift+w,a,s,d,q,e) to be sure they won't burn directly onto the rover.
  8. I remember for my last Laythe mission I aimed for a periapsis at about 119,650m, but if you just want a circular you'll probably want to go a bit lower.
  9. If your running windows OS you could use the built in windows movie maker for the basic stuff. If you want to do anything fancier go for Lightworks. It has a free version but could take you a while to get the hang of, maybes refer to some YouTube tutorials. If you ever find you need even more powerful softwear Abode Premier Elements is a good steeping-stone into the world of being slightly poorer.
  10. Maybey try pressing Alt-Enter to go into full screen, and going into the settings to up the resolution could help.
  11. I've been playing KSP for about a year now, and decided to join the community. I'll probably post a few screenshots and rockets on the space craft exchange, (everyone likes to show off!) but mostly I'll just be giving feedback.
