  1. http://www.wired.com/2015/03/nasas-plan-give-moon-moon/ Yeah... been there... done that.
  2. I don't have the moxi, or post count to have much of a say in the game. I just enjoy the .... out of it... That being said, this poll illustrates the communities' (that is to say, the customer's) view of "Release Status." We need a champion to lay out a sort of "requirements" list of features beyond those originally spec'd out by the dev team (I don't think I've seen the full list?). The grey area here is that, in a sense, we are demanding something beyond the original plan. Though open development cuts both ways, as we should remind Squad. I think the Dev Team wants more, we just have to let Squad know that there is financial gain (or loss) by what they do here and now. If I get burned on another Early Access game... I can't tell you how much of a weight the disappointment puts on my pocket strings. If ever there was a time for unity as a group of like minded rocketeers... This would be it.
  3. Are you taking feature requests? If so, would it be possible to append/pull/attach/magic the changelog from forum posts/other_source and feed it into a tab on the right side of the GUI?
  4. Thank you for all the hard work. You will save, just personally, hours of hunting/configuring and stress headaches for each new save. This is certainly high on the list most useful mods available. It is my hope that 10 years from now people will still play this game, and it'll develop it's own following like the heady days of Warcraft, Starcraft, and Total Annihilator. This utility may make that even more possible. Thank you.
  5. Thank you for the info, very silly thing to do on behave of Unity, but I'll go with it.
  6. Howdy all, Wonderful mod, besides my troubles: Crashed to desktop when all files/textures are loaded (or at least the yellow loading bar is visisably full). My mod list is as follows: Blizytoolbar, B9, DeadlyReentry, EngineerRedux, FerramAero, KAS, KerbalJointReinforcement, Kethane, KWRocket, Mechjeb, Infernal Robotics, DockingPort align(navyfish), RCSBuildAid, RealChute, RemoteTech2, SelectRoot, TAC (FuelBal, Lifesupport, SelfDestruct), altResourcePanel, Void, Intersteller, WarpUnlocker. Crash Log:
  7. I do need quite a bit of power, 4x fold out dishes, 2x omnidirectional, Ion Drive, kethane scanner, and two probe cores (two stage probe, kethane/iondrive dock/undock). Not to mention the added benefit of night-time scanning going nuclear. I have a second variant that is LKO powered (science package instead of kethane) designed to land on planets (no return trip). A relay and science transmission station. Again large power requirements for each probe. The small radial ones are just a waste of surface space, there is a need to have something telescopic or folding out (decently folding out like stock solar). I hope there is someone out there with modeling skills who agrees, and I hope it just sounds like a good idea.
  8. Would it be a big ask for some more options with heat dissipation? The coolers used in vacuum are too large for the micro communication satellites I build (with remote tech), and I can't make a decent looking one myself. I've also modified the scale of the model in the config, but that didn't end up so swell either. Perhaps a modified antenna, like a telescopic heat exchanging rod. I really love the heat mechanic, (though there should be something to be said about being too cold as well) and this mod as a whole. Not a deal breaker if that part is a no-go, but it could add to the fun. Cheers
  9. I'd really like to see engines that fold out of a cylinder and extend out... Better still: A hollow cylinder, with four extendable panels in the cardinal directions. This would allow things like antenna/Dishes, batteries, RCS nodes, KAS parts, and fold out rover wheels to be mounted inside (for aerodynamics). I'm just picturing a rectangular prism covered by rounded panels connected to the prism on four corners by hydraulic arms. If nothing else, and you've got the time. Fold out/deploy-able rover wheels.
