Must have been one heck of an argument!
Wasn't that bad ... I mean I didn't threaten to invade Poland or something ... but I also didn't used jazz hands.

I blame all translation errors on my Bavarian background
CKAN is free and open source, it depends on contributions made by volunteers. That means, if you spot an outright wrong translation, you are very welcome to correct it and create a pull request!
I would if I could ... but I managed to get into an argument with one developer ... and got banned for life from github

After I recently updated ckan it changed to my native language ... How do I change it back to English?(I use English in all applications, cause translations are in most cases horrible at best and outright wrong at worst)Never mind was answered already as not possible for now.

I think Christmas came early.
Thanks for this gift (although I'd like to had have the option to use the old textures ... guess I have to make a backup of'em and mod'm in after the update)
Happy holidays to the team ... (or since it's likely that the whole team is actually Christian ... Merry Christmas)
Have fun (and I hope you get some free time to spend with your loved ones ... or at least your families) ...
and happy new year (since I am unlikely to post ... and hopefully no one of you is forced to read posts)

@Booots Sooo, Just to let you know ... while some of your mods appear in Ckan this one doesn't ... and Spacedock warns:
QuoteOutdated Mod
This mod is not known to work with the latest version of Kerbal Space Program. Proceed with caution.
Anyway cool idea for a mod, I will definitely try i out. Something I wanted to have for a long time.

If I mouse over anything belonging to the plugin my cursor disappears and I have to guess in order to gracefully quit the game.
Same here. Tooltips and icons borked (tooltips are light gray font on mid gray background, icons are all gray blocks)
But menus and rest is (or at least seems) fine. (did not actually test everything out)

Will get you a 1.4.1 version by the weekend
Great! Thanks so much.

I've been checking the mods on CKAN to try them out on the new version. I think that I have it in some weird mode that only shows the ones that are set to be compatible with the latest version of KSP.
How did you set it so you could install mods that aren't?in CKAN -> Settings -> Compatible KSP versions
Use with care

I love all the changes (except the ToS changes, though)
Even have reverted to vanilla for the time being to enjoy the new content (though not for long, since vanilla still has issues)

Then could please someone tell this the CKan team? ... or update the op here as well.
Though, it could use an update ... there are no cryo effects for parts smaller than 1m and bigger than 2m, if I interpret the files correctly.
And a whole lot of "recently" added parts are missing.
In short while it is still kinda working (not producing a crash) it still needs some love.
Please Sarbian give it some!Thanks.

I think there might be a problem again with ambient light and ckan.
QuoteFailed to download "https://spacedock.info/mod/184/Ambient Light Adjustment/download/2.6.7.4" - error: Remote server has responded with Error: (404) Not found.
Edit: error essage was translated by me into english

@Whitecat106 think you might have a little typo on
Quote[1.2.1] Orbital Decay v1.4.1 (07/05/2016) - Stock Bugged
unless you have access to KSP 1.2.1 ahead from everybody else. (should be 1.1.2)

That's odd, according to spacedock, its on CKAN, and the metadata is in the netkan repo (https://github.com/KSP-CKAN/NetKAN/blob/master/NetKAN/AmbientLightAdjustment.netkan) ... but its out of date.
Not sure if this is something to take up with the spacedock people or the CKAN people.
update : sounds like the spacedock bot for updating CKAN was broken - should be fixed on next release - will probably do a delete + re-release of current version on spacedock to tickle the bot.
Good to hear. This was a sad sight.

Okay then it just doesn't work in 1.1. I've got it installed and there is no icon anywhere that I see.
Actually they changed so much in the UI, there is no way that it will work.

I also want to see this one keep living! Can't stand having the navball in the middle of the screen.

Since it has been ages @kitoban has updated this or replied to this. Has anyone considered to taking it over?
-
@mic_e any plans to port this to 1.1?

Ok I'm not waiting on Blizzy's toolbar for 1.1 ...
New release on first page - build for 1.1 Prerelease, supports Stock Applauncher (toolbar), but *in theory* will switch to using Blizzy's toolbar when that is available for 1.1 assuming the interface stays the same (untested).
Default slider position is top left because I can't see a nice way to get the applauncher position (unlike Blizzy's toolbar, which handles this nicely), but I've added support for dragging the slider elsewhere on the screen.
Edit to add : Note - right now the stock mode doesn't support middle/right click on Applauncher to reset/switch to setting2 - I'd be interested to know if people would be ok with buttons next to the slider for doing these things (reset to default + setting1/2 toggle) - I'm kindof inclined that way as it makes operation a bit more obvious.
.... I'm also not ignoring requests for per-scene settings, but want to get this working for 1.1 first.
Thanks for updating it several times. Though I am bit worried that it isn't on CKAN anymore neither this nor the older versions.
-
I love it but for final version it would be cool to have a once click solution to remove clouds & such from map view (for picking landing sides) or removing the cloud layer when zoomed in max or such
-
Haven't realized that this mod didn't had an update in ages. Still so much better than stock. So, I second the request for an update. Pretty please.
-
Loved it in 1.0.5 and now with 1.1 pre kicked in I finally have all the memory to add all the visual goodies that I wan't to. So I hope this will get updates soon (my memory feels lonely)
-
Since 1.1 pre hit, I hope this will get updated, soon. It is just so convenient

Sorry, I am totally blind. Where?

I have a feature request:
since it doesn't seem to work that well withe the vanilla next orbit button (at least it didn't for me in 1.0.5) I'd like to have something like this build into precise node itself. one click on a (new) button behind the time e.g advance it one orbit. calling the vanilla function for it.

[...] I probably have at least 10 hours modding for every actual hour of playtime [...]
You really should get help. If 20 people would help and we go on with same progress, each would only sacrifice half an hour per 1 hour of playing.
I try to improve my C skills, but as I am at the moment I would do more harm than good.

Agh, the 1.1 prerelease made me realize how ugly the stock fairings are, they clash so horribly with other parts... Good luck on updating!
Yeah, fugly. unwieldy and in any way horribly to use.
I very second an update of this .... I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT MY PROCEDURAL FAIRING FIX <-- in case someone doesn't get it it is meant funny comment / as a joke.
(and don't forget the 64bit version of your mod)

Is it already known that the lights forget their colors at random?
90% of the time when I go back to a ship or launch one where I have assigned a color to a light that is then gone. 10% of the time the game remembers.
