  1. I'll definitely say thank you to squad! My part count capability has increased by a couple hundred by this update! Must have been some junk floating around in the code that they removed
  2. I love the science lab! First thing in .23 was adding one (or three for the hell of it) to my space station. I haven't actually used the science aspect of them yet but they look amazing, much more appropriate than two stacked hitchhikers.
  3. You can make of the game whatever you wish to make of it. So, if you want it, do etttt.
  4. I'm sure he will be back eventually, probably has some real life stuff he needs to deal with instead of YouTube. Also, this is not the place to discuss his personal matters, so probably best for people not to talk about it before people start speculating.
  5. Lol, I love how there is thread on this every few days, can't get enough destruction eh? but yes, I have.
  6. My limits are that of my computer lagging to death or the glitches eating my rockets alive. And game crashes after long missions.
  7. I sure hope they put these in! More animations would be very cool
  8. You can overheat any engine if you use it as a lander for Kerbol
  9. Agreed! Jeez Iv'e seen so many people angry about the update.. It seems some just aren't really happy until their feature makes it in, which is understandable, but some people get far to torn up about it.
  10. No use? I use my .22 mun base as a science farm if I need a new part of the tree but don't want to do a new mission, not only that, but when your science becomes worthless, just travel to a slightly different part, and more science ensues. That and you can add more parts and sensors to bases and stations and continue using them as science farms. How does that make them useless?
  11. Lol, I left the forums when .22 came out because I was to busy with KSP, I had no idea people were upset with it... May i ask what people are upset about? This is my favorite update by far.
  12. I made an amphibious Kerbin capsule rescue system that could land and take off from water. I've found that the only (reliable) way to take off out of the water is with a VTOL. Otherwise you have a permanent boat. I'll post pictures when I get back to my main machine.
  13. This. The engines are weird, it should be one module with the intake the cooler/structure part and "engine" as one part. Or you could rename the round intake to compressor first stage, the structure part to core, and the "engine" part to exhaust/afterburner. Either way, I think this is planned anyway.
  14. My old Logitech attack 3 is missing buttons and one axis doesn't work, so it mouse and keyboard for me
  15. Wow! These are really really nice I'm not usually one who cares about cars in KSP but this is pretty darn fayantasmic
  16. True, or perhaps even a tie down or variable length lander legs depending on terrain.
  17. I would love to have variable braking pressures, or maybe even large spikes you drive into the ground to stop! Only kidding about the spikes
  18. That's second one is looking pretty cool, I only use Stabojet now that I found out about it. Much better to not flatspin when flaming out
  19. I really like this idea, I have all kinds of parts of craft that need to be deleted as I tend to overbuild and overfuel.
  20. From what I know, the current engine sounds, exhaust colors, and explosions are just placeholder effects. I could be wrong but that's what I remember hearing.
  21. Nice Ship looks very nice and sleek, have you considered adding Stabojet? It's when you have the jet engines pointing outward from the center of mass to prevent flatspins from flameouts.
  22. You must be incredibly impatient if that's how you really feel. When I first started playing in 0.20 I thought there were too many parts to choose from, and the updates come out so fast my space programs don't even get finished. I also don't understand how you think a 1 man team would be better, Orbiter is made by one person and it isn't nearly as refined as KSP.
  23. I can't speak on behalf of Squad, but if I were to hazard a guess, I highly doubt they would consider this. I think the rate at which KSP is developed and sold is plenty fast enough, and the game is incredible as-is. Money isn't always the answer, its the time and the effort of development put into the game. From what I can tell, this game is updated and worked on diligently and is not needing anything quite as large as a kickstarter, since it's already had so much success. I also feel like if people were just throwing money at Squad for more updates and overhauls, the development would be a much larger item on the table. Of course, there's no reason not to buy the game multiple times to show your own support
  24. Solar systems (procedural or not) are on Squads list to look at, but the game is still only in alpha, and not everything has been refined. Also, I think the reason people don't like magic warp drives is because KSP tries its best to be an accurate space program sim with proper orbital mechanics and physics. So adding Sci-Fi stuff to KSP would not be favored by too many. That's not to say nobody wants it, as plenty of conversations have involved warping on this forum. As for me, more planets in the current system is perfectly fine, perhaps leaving the interstellar exploration to a later more refined version of the game, after it has already been mostly worked out.
