  1. Not been on kerbal space program in a long time and im just getting use to all these new things. My question is about SAS. Can it only be turned on by a pilot? what about trying to control a unmanned flight? Cheers Rob
  2. Hi, I have found that if you sprint into water you just keep going and you run on the water. You only start to swim once you stop running.
  3. Yogscast Duncan i think. I got the demo and then bought the games and i achieved loads of things before duncan even uploaded his 3rd ksp video
  4. Hi guys, Im a new Youtube and need your help to get me started. Can you take the time to watch it and share. I would absolutely love you for it and you would be in my debt. Feel free to drop a like and give me some feedback. Weather that be on the forum or youtube Thanks RobbiePlayingGames AKA Rob Newest Episode Better for me if you view through youtube -------->
  5. banned for starting new thread page
  6. I have the file http://www./view/t35ozw1j2mti5fn/Manned_Mun_landing_demo_parts.craft Ive not tested it but i have checked and it have all of the dV you need Might be a bit slugish but if so just add rcs or sas EDIT: oh yeah i forgot Struts :/ add them in!
  7. You were probably Right on the tip of entering tylo's SOI and it might have been spazing and not showing it. or you used physics warp or even normal warp that just edged you into the SOI.
  8. Even thought i dont need any of these, there just for show and role play im gonna have habitat modules Coms module liquid, monoprop, xenon and electricity storage modules Rover hanger-maybe well see
  9. Cant really remember that well but i do recall flying directly at the moon to get there haha!! i also use to fly straight up till apogee was 70 then TW till i got there and then flew horizontally
  10. Nah i dont do mods. my bases are completely for show and as role play
  11. How large is the vessel your moving? Very large ships can flex and cause fluctuations in dV due to the physics in the game.
  12. Hey, Im about to start work on a mun base, however, what do you even build at a base? i have built bases before but i just want more suggestions please. Im playing completely stock btw Thankyou
  13. If you want to know how to do it go here----> EPISODE 2---- http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/77169-Life-in-a-day-Jeb-%28EPISODE-2-out-now%21%29
  14. EPISODE 2 - Geosynchronous Sat-coms Now If were going to explore further beyond kerbin then were going to need some Satcoms. For a rocket to be in contact will 1 satcom at all times we need to make 3 geosynchronous satcoms that make an equilateral triangle. I start by making a simple satcom payload... As we will need three i attach two more using the cubic struts... I have done all of the calculations and made a suitable launcher to do the job... Now, launchy launchy Firstly i just get it into a simple 80 by 80 orbit...or as close as i can... Now for them to be geosynchronous the average orbit altitude needs to be 2,868km. So i start by extending my apogee to this height. Now what needs to be done is that when im at the apogee i will extend my perigee so i have a 4h orbital period. All will be explained, just go with it. Now, ill loop back round to my apogee and release the first probe. Once i do this i will extend the perigee of the probe to make a 6h orbital period. i do this because 1 kerbin day is 6h. this causes the probe to be stationary relative to kerbin's surface. I you do this youll know what i mean Now i will loop my other two remaining satcoms back to the apogee and repeat what i did with the first probe and then the same for the last probe:D And that should be done all three probes should make an equilateral triangle. they should look something like this. Dont worry if they are slightly off i have done his mission a few times before After i get some interplanitary missions under my belt the probes will be way off an equilateral triangle, but hay, its fun!! END OF EPISODE 2 Hope you enjoyed if anyone even looks at these XD
  15. WELCOME TO THE FORUMS!! You live less than two hours from me yay!
  16. Banned because your signature wasn't enough related to KSP!
  17. Episode 1 - Pilot For a start no kerbal even knows what is beyond the clouds and the sky. This is cause for some exploration. To do this we'll need a probe. I set out on building my probe. I needed the probe to be light and have a small amount of fuel with a tiny engine. This is so we can shift the probe around once in space and if needed to later, bring it back. And here it is... Now all is well i needed to find a way to put this thing into orbit. To do that i had two in-line FL-T800 tanks with a LV-T45 engine under them. I also had two radial attached FL-T800's also with a LV-T45 engine. I have fuel lines from them to the central tanks to increase the efficiency of the rocket. This rocket was very easy to get into orbit and i had absolutely no problems and all ran smoothly First Staging I got it into a 100k by 100k orbit as this was high enough and the rocket got there with fuel to spare After that i detached the next stage and was left with the final probe where the testing of this whole new perspective began! END OF EPISODE 1!! Hope you enjoyed this, I did! As i said before, FEEDBACK please! Things will get a lot better as it goes on because ill be making this take space stations round jool and bases on laythe etc... but i dont was to rush into things too fast, as this would be silly. NASA didnt go the Mars before they went to the moon If you read through this please reply to the thread i would like to know if people actually read it Thankyou and goodbye
