  1. need help setting it up, as its not stable and the winch part doesn`t seem to stay on the animated part of the boom. I got the parts added weights to them, all 5 parts weight at 240 t, trailer is at 60 t, will do a link so u can fool around with it to see tomorrow, bed time
  2. I will pack it up tomorrow and send it to u to check it out. no idear how to fix it better. tried your tut on the animated stuff, not working with 3dmax.
  3. when the outrigers expand, it puts the wheels off the ground and then I use the crane to pull stuff up, but my crane want to tip over, is there a way to so it grabs the ground when released, I barely can pull a 30 t item, from behind it seems to work better, adding a weight that goes backward to counter the weight u are pulling up don`t work, ksp prob don`t know. anyway, was asking if there is a fix for the winch part not staying on the animated part of my boom? seems to work for ic, but there is something in cfg.
  4. how much weight can the mignet pull up, around 30 t it seem to want to break, can we modified it for more?

I got a question, any way ,cfg etc to get my crane to not move when I pick stuff up, also I need to figure out why my crane winch at the tip of the boom isn`t following the boom extended boom parts[cfg]?? using some of your stuff, works great, ty, just need t ofix up the boom animation some day, not that great with animation, it got a single extend on it, as it would be easier to control the boom, as with the piston. here is the model, took a long time to make it

  8. very nice ship, u concentrated more on the inside then outside, very rare as its more difficult, great job your really getting better at it, love the new ship, outside could use a bit of work, not much but its looking good, oh just saw the queen ant, not bad, is the middle part with a full collision??, as u could add some detachable containers.
  9. looks good , very unique in the design, but it would look better with a cockpit in the front, seem like there is missing something there?? is it base on a tv, etc? if I made a car or cars or maybe construction vehicles [ doing them right now] anyway of getting them sold, like in a garage?? now with economics would be nice to get a kerbal to go shop for 1
  10. yes your right , same reason I did a post to ask a few question, like if a few people use it , then its worth the time, even if no one uses it, its for me anyway, remember playing skyrim, released like 1/4 of the stuff I had ingame, and I had like 1000+ meshes, yes I can of do a lot of those, been known for it, I tried to keep of freeware, easier, but once while I do experiment of stuff, its faster. as for your post being not popular, only the top 10 are posted prob lol. I play a bit here and there, like u said I stop playing to built stuff, when I get bored of modding , I will play with the toys I made, getting my mods ready for a play, might take a few months of modding to a year, etc, then will play. got my crane truck built up, now need to make the boom and the back of the crane
  11. u think by now someone would have recreated walking legs that works?, like a bottom torso might of been easier, I see a few robots, but there having a hard time walking, like its a baby taking its first steps lol, anyway, all the stuff I see is great, makes a difference in mods for sure
  12. yes, took forever to get the wheels in there, not easy as it looks, so for the mod, might release it later on, 1 reply for it, hehe , so no hurry, might do a pack and release some stuff in it.any way, not worried about a post, popular or not. I`m having fun with this stuff, I get to make stuff for my game . prob will let this die out. will reply when I released stuff. and might repy on lcars post
  13. finish amazing, it fits in the runabout, just lucky it does tug of war, it works great to haul stuff and can push heavy stuff, they blow up if u are to hard on them, forgot to take a pic of the iva with the door open, nothing amazing in there, just a iva
  14. yes I did use the infernal tel parts, but I find them to easy to break and to small, u mean this one right I could use them, but would prob have to modified the cfg, as the tele. arm bend like a fishing rod, and is to small. I had a 280 ton vehicle[ 18 wheels it took to get it going lol ] with that similar crane set up and wanted to pick up 20 ton vehicle, the rotatron also broke? to much weight at the end? also in the first pic I showed, its a different boom, is that yours Surkut?? yes spankermonkey, that looks very nice, was thinking of the same way, but just might make 2 animated pieces boom. ty for the replies
  15. like a 1 piece that can handle a lot of weight, its 1 prob I keep having is I want a make a crane, but I can`t seem to get a boom for it working!!!, tried ic, etc, I might have to built it, but not sure about the animation part, tried to make 1, 3dmax 2010, [iC tutorial for making small animation] I can`t get it to work, so running out of option, I will either make it or throw away the project if I make a boom animated, can i make it so it will start and stop like a cargo bay doors????, is there a cfg I can use to control it, like IC robotics??? this boom would be nice, not sure how much weight it could pick up?, maybe I will just make a tower crane and be done with it! pic of boom that seem to work, can`t find it or if its released? this is what I want to make I might just make a boom that extend to full size, would that work, like 1 click full size and 1 click stored.?
  16. yes for solar system, maybe to much work and they will come out with a pluging. anything to make money ingame is usually fun, gathering,etc . yes as it makes it a bit different, depends how u use it, light version I use it for when it flips, or when I use a vtol on a spaceship, etc, but u can use it for a lot of things, every ship should have it just for a few important controls, flip the vehicle is so sweet, and hovering and stoping, for me it changed my game for better, even if u don`t want the impulse drive, its very usefull in the game. every game needs additional gameplay, what keeps u wanting more is the key, as a lot of games u get bored of things, this game has a lot of stuff and is getting better with mods, updates.1 trick is look at what other games do like for gathering stuff for money and convert it to ksp style, if its unique then its gold....anyway here is the next project until I figure out what I want to make lol,[ custom] sooooo many good stuff I could make, but I want a few things ingame for myself also. so here is a airport hawler, there is a lot of stuff I could make, here is a freeware I modified a bit, simple mesh, almost nothing much to change with it. I would need to make bigger wheels and I wonder if there is dirt tires around? I could make them, but no idear how ,thereprob animated and need a cfg for animation.like I said if its to easy I get bored, so if u see freeware, then u know why its freeware, still I think it will look ok ingame when I finish it, next I will do my crane!!! just looking at which ones? so many different ones could make a crane mod, but I think I got a better idea, just need to test how to add nods
  17. nice , hehe bullet train could be easy to do, could be like playing lego , just need a couple sets of different angle tracks, train is simple enough to make [3dmax], this it turning out to be a sim city.
  18. wow, u got idea that if ever done , will revolusionized, ksp, amazing idea if u can get it to work, that is all stuff ksp is thinking of doing later on , also with that idear u could prob make a regenerated solar system mod, like create your own solar system? it would be amazing to add more solar system? not sure if that is possible yet but as for your idea , u want to start a ksp war lol, yes I can make anything right now, getting to understand the game better for modding it. but time and rl is always in the way. weapons and structure are very easy, trying to do the infernal robotics, but not working, 3dmax, there is something I`m doing wrong, wanted to do a crane, so I wanted to create the animated boom, might have to use infernal robotics if I can`t get it to work, as I can do simple animation, might read a bit more for more complexe animation. very good idea, hoping u can get them to work, seems very hard as no one has tackle those yet. I will make more star trek, etc, stuff, maybe 1 or 2 shuttle for star trek, but first I want my crane even if I got to stay up all night every night to figure it out. then after I got a few idea for contruction vehicles, then military stuff, but right now its not very inviting , as there isn`t a war going on in ksp. but I will make a few military vehicles like this one, got tons of stuff of pics I want to make I will make something like this, but can`t make everything at once.this is pretty simple to do, prob can do it in a night. so anything I released u can used, released as u wish, so far , no one is selling my meshes because I don`t add a proper texture , lol , but I guest if any wanted to take the time they could make a simple texture for selling my meshes. anyway the only thing I ask is not sell it for commercial, its free for anybody to use,etc as seen in the license. I`m known for making tons of meshes in my younger days, had to much time, now I guest I got to work, rl , kids, so I can do a bit here and there. post 1-5 items u need as a request and I will try to do them here and there, need a image, I don`t mesure anything no more, I`m more of a I see the pic, I can make it. but like I said I will make a few stuff u need, very simple stuff as long as its not like my darn ds9 , hard as its a mesh in a mesh and needed tons of collisions, collision= bad for ksp frame rate, testing stuff, took out lots of collisions in my runabout and it was excellent, no lags , etc, first version I added collision box u click and it added collision for every piece, even if the collision wasn`t click it seems to know u got collision on, weird, but anyway, I learn not to add to much lol, anyway, got tons of freeware stuff, prob will not use much of it, maybe a few good ones or use a item to copy over,[ to lazy to do simple stuff, reason for freeware, but some are to complexe to use] will experiment on freeware a bit more, then that's if for freeware, never know, if I get inspired I will make and maybe released it. so next is that dawn crane, got everything [idea, except to do the animated boom, got any idea what I could do, will IC work for it?? if so I could use it I guest and save me the work????
  19. yes sure , use what u want, prob can fork a few meshes on the way. be interesting to get weapons to shoot at u, then u got to shoot it back, could change the game and make it very interesting
  20. ty guys, also ty phil for the tut, saw that way back, the easiest is like u said in unity, place a gameobject and copy the coordinate. well finally took forever to get the file approved, it was to hard to read 0o, anyway its there now, look in first page for link for runabout didn`t get the engine to work, in unity I need = It looks like you haven't configured a proper " thrust transform " in your model, well no idea how to add , etc well did a landcruiser, drives like a tank, very heavy tank, tons of fun, had to put lots of wheels on it, 20 ton vehicle, but drives really good, phil what a very nice tool that impulse, u know its perfect for turning vehicles right side up when I turn over, great stuff, will prob do a hall to go to iva

  22. ty, I just drop them, but yes I could add them in if any wants them?? got them made, how would the cfg look like????, I got no idea, taking bits here and there, it`s not working , I would like to get self working engines, and unlimited or a lot of fuel liquidfuel can any make a nice cfg
  23. here is the finish product, took time to get cfg going, had a bad mesh somewhere in the model, freeware, anyway, its all fix and its a nice model worthy of getting added in, took a bit of time to get it all set up, as I had to fix a few holes in it, etc, made a iva, still working on the cfg for it, also added a cargo bay yes I got it as a lcars with full engine in 1 mesh, also took out the engine and it can amazingly fly by itself, very stable , was very surprised, as u took off as a vtol as in the pic, it wasn`t very stable in space lol, needed more work to it. u can cut it more in unity if u want to like take out the wings sides, both works great on my side . as for the iva, u can add a seat on the chairs there and u can add a kerbal into it[ fits 4], u will see them inside. will released in a bit tonight
  24. been at it for a long time, its always the same, people don`t like to post . no big deal, I usually get bored of posting by myself and let the post die out, I just released stuff here and there.
