Copying the WHOLE FOLDER also worked for me. I thought before I only had to copy the KSP executable, but no, it has to be the whole KSP_osx folder. I’m using 10.13 High Sierra. So far, no stuttering.

Thank you lucaswoj! After a clean install of macOS Sierra, the first thing I downloaded was KSP. My startup was frozen just like everyone else, but your steps solved it! Hooray!

I can't seem to get control surfaces to build correctly. This affects both Standard and Small Control Surfaces. Whenever I try to put them on a wing, they end up at weird angles, usually perpendicular to how I want or how they might actually work. I can't even get them to build correctly on the stock planes. I can load an Aeris 3A (stock) click on the Standard Control Surfaces to move them but they'll never go back on the wing the way they were before. Any ideas? Thanks!
