  1. To everyone defending the WYSIWYG editor: what's being requested is an OPTION to use BBcode in the editor, and obviously not a complete change to it. This means that if the forums get it, then you won't be forced to use any particular editor, and you'll still be free to use the buggy and frustrating mess that is WYSI(SIYLAHTOP)WYG.
  2. I think Skillful does, but its system only works for its own weapons.
  3. Post it in the thread where the mod author is more likely to see your post and help you.
  4. Actually, there's a 24 hour rep limit of about ten or so.
  5. Try changing the transformName for both of the nodes from NozzleTransform to smokePoint for smoke and fxPoint for the flames.
  6. @Wavechaser What you also have to be careful with is that, unlike the rest of the SRBs, the Kickback natively uses ModuleEngineFX, so you'll have to delete the old code in a manner different than the stock SRB configs and the majority of existing configs. Basically, you want to have this at the beginning of your config instead the many lines at the beginning of the other SRB configs: !EFFECTS {} Also, what kept screwing up my own configs for myself was that I didn't set the transformName line on both the flame and smoke nodes to the proper value that the part uses, so make sure you grab the appropriate transformNames from the Kickback's config (MassiveSRB.cfg) and stick them into your own config (for this specific part, they would be fxPoint for the flame and smokePoint for the smoke).
  7. [quote name='fredinno'] Also, not my idea... but [url]http://nassp.sourceforge.net/wiki/Future_Expansion#High%20Orbit%20Parabolic%20Antenna%20Test[/url] "In 1966 NASA asked Convair to research the use of Apollo systems to test out large scale space construction projects. One such project was the use of a[I] Saturn V/CSM combination[/I] to deploy a 100ft Parabolic Antenna into a synchronous orbit so that [B]the characteristics of the antenna could be determined under operational conditions.[/B]" [url]http://nassp.sourceforge.net/w/images/e/e6/ParabolicExperiment.png[/url] Ah, don't you love the ridiculousness of 60's era spacecraft concepts...[/QUOTE] How is that stupid? That's ingenious.
  8. 4/10 Alright.... Unrelatedly, how'd you find out your posts including those in the space lounge?
  9. [quote name='fredinno']Lol, why is the Spacecraft IN THE FAIRING?[/QUOTE] Looks like SNC did it too: [IMG]http://i.imgur.com/y1E9pR3.png[/IMG] They're sooo stooooooooooopeeeeed in thinking that it mitigates undesirable aero forces and stress during ascent. So stoooooooopeeeeeeed woooow
  10. [URL="http://i.imgur.com/5DKNpwn.png"][IMG]http://i.imgur.com/5DKNpwnh.png[/IMG][/URL] Fraction of a second later: [URL="http://i.imgur.com/JIYh4I8.png"][IMG]http://i.imgur.com/JIYh4I8h.png[/IMG][/URL]
  11. Made a so kerbal xD thing a while ago that basically consisted of an F-1 engine strapped to a car with fuel tanks enough for 2 km/s of DV, a TWR of 16, and an 8 second burn time. It was supposed to go down the runway, but every single time it lifted off and flew through the air at ridiculous speeds: Note the thrust, TWR, and G-force Split second later: There's also this from when I was trying to fly an SSTO like a fighter jet:
  12. Will the option to hide rep still be available with the update?
  13. Woo! Best of luck on getting approved and making it into stores (where I'll surely hope to buy one).
  14. [quote name='josea74']Ya but I'm asking for a change in the 100% code value so that it doesn't blow up aircraft that shouldn't blow up and these aircraft also have necessary heating protection.[/QUOTE] But literally why? The heating is [I]perfectly fine[/I] for me and countless others. You're the [I][U][B]only[/B][/U][/I] one asking for this, so just do it on your end.
  15. You know there's a difficulty setting for heating right? [IMG]http://i.imgur.com/8SXIQWG.png[/IMG]
  16. You can toggle it with "Double Click Mouselook" under Gameplay in the General tab of the settings.
  17. It throws the error all the time I think, regardless of whether it's minimized or not.
  18. Really? An entire thread is not even remotely necessary for a signature. With some simple resizing, you could easily fit both of those pictures and that quote (which does not at all need to use the quote bbcode in order to look good) in your signature. Besides, you don't even need an entire thread in a public forum, just make a blogpost or something.
  19. Tried it in 1.0.5 today and it seems like the in-game GUI can't receive messages or screenshots (but can still send them) and also spits out this in the debug log every few seconds: MissingMethodException: Method not found: 'MessageSystem.AddMessage'. at KLF.KLFManager.readClientInterop () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at KLF.KLFManager.updateStep () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 (Filename: Line: -1)
  20. You could also try to realize that not all players are like you and actually try to figure things out on their own It's also already there:
  21. Are you sure that "Texture Quality" in the settings is at full res and not something less?
  22. Yup, the patcher's been broken for a while now. Why would you delete it? Just rename your current KSP_win folder and download 1.0.5 separately.
