I would like to get back into the game, but Career seems like a hassle and Sandbox seems too easy. Thoughts?

I'm going to finally plant a flag on all planets in the Kerbol system like I said I would do for long time now, and use only my career playthrough to do so. Happy New Years btw.

I did a poll on this a while back, but now that KSP has entered it's beta stage, I wanted to find out again. Personally, I care about my Kerbals a lot. I do whatever is within my power to keep them from dying.

Do you think points should be taken off for using Flight Engineer?
