I haven't played in quite a while and the whole mining system is new to me. It seems like way more effort than it's worth though. Do you bother with mining? What does your mining setup look like?

I'm pretty broke =( Spending all my 30k to send a probe to the mun, which will barely give me any funds....

I'm not actually sure. I deployed them at a height above where the parachute opens, so there wasn't much shock. However, I don't think the parachutes fully deployed because I flew out of range and the "rovers" didn't show up in the tracking building. The trick might be to deploy them just above the parachute opening height.

Asteroid stuff. Each size of asteroid has it's own challenges. Class A ones are kinda hard to grab, the larger ones are harder to maneuver... Built a station on an asteroid Docked two asteroids together

Huh, that's weird, are you using any mods? I just did it myself.

I'd also like to see Whackjob or somebody build a spaceship around a large asteroid and fly it.

Well, I was going to try to move my asteroid to equatorial orbit today, but KSP deleted all my fuel somehow. I just did an orbital refueling mission, too D=
