  1. It happens to me too, Just press TAB until you focus on Eeloo then press it once more so you focus it on your Spacecraft.
  2. When you are in VAB, look up in middle of screen, you'll see something called Action Groups, press on it then a list of keys will show up, press on number 1, then press L-alt ( so you can choose multiple things ) after that, choose what you want to be enabled or turned on WHEN you press on THAT key.
  3. Wow, Didn't think that you guys will be that positive! btw Deadshot did you move the Topic? I put it here but then it was moved then returned ( General.. ).. I think I put it in the right place so there's no need for moving it ! But yeah, I agree, Tylo is harder to land but not that hard to take off from, but come on let's face it, launching from eve is the hardest challenge in KSP! two times stronger ( 1.70 to be exact) than kerbin.
  4. Thanks everyone! What a cool community we have! I wouldn't have done it without your guides and your info! Much thanks!
  5. YES! I finally did it! I used someones lander from this forum ( forgot his name.. but all credit goes to him ) and I made a rocket that carried it to eve, to be honest I modified the lander just a lil' bit so it can reduce g-forces. But anyway, here's a video, feel free to SUBSCRIBE, LIKE, and i'd appreciate it if you comment ;D!
  6. Design new Launch System, new sky-crane system..etc That's what I did back in .20, while I was waiting for .21 to be released, I actually made a lighter launch system and a smaller one that carries the same payload but with a less altitude ( 800 km ). Also design rovers and stuff, to be ready for .22, that's what I do, but for now, I'm designing a ONE launch space Station and get it to laythe, then send landers in one launch, after that bring 6 rovers and attach them to landers, then launch one by one and make a base on laythe ( I currently have a base, but every module had it's own launch, ) OR try this, it doesn't take a long time, nor big rockets or stuff: Make a huge base scattered around Minmus, Minmus is an easy place to get to, low gravity, you have flat lakes ( which helps you if your going to dock, that way everything would be level. ) and then start exploring it, build space planes there.. do SCIENCE!
  7. Just keep it easy and simple, no one masters landing for the first time, so: Start by lowering periapses as low as you can then before reaching it start burning retrograde until your speed is controllable, then start killing your horizontal velocity. Then burn for a bit of time when you are almost close to the surface and keep your velocity below 30m/s Then throttle up and keep your velocity 1 m/s.
  8. If you have a small probe 3 tons or less then put 909 engine, now to be honest I only put 909 engine for only the Kerbin system, and for the rest of planets I usually put LV-N engine no matter what.
  9. Landing on laythe for the first time in .17, pretty hard! I remember crossing my fingers and waiting for touch down
  10. Yes, Try to dock without MechJeb and use the map, docking isn't hard, it just takes time and need a patient person.
  11. Well, I hope they just add one more planet in .22 ( which is not gonna happen.. ) but here's my wish list: add at least a gas giant, with 9 moons, one similar to Titan, which has a really thick atmosphere and if you walk on it you feel like you walk in water, it's very dusty and all that stuff. also a moon like Io, sending stuff to space, and I'd like to see more Moons like Laythe, but with almost the same things as kerbin, lower gravity too, Umm.. Also to make the current planets more beautiful and add volcanic activity on Laythe!
  12. I'd say you put your craft in lower orbits, dock if you have to, then send them to 600 km orbit, send a refueling missions to refuel, then head interplanetary, as others said, more delta-v to reach higher orbits but LOWER delta-v to escape, also lower gravity and all that stuff, everything is related to each other. it's only up to you. I'd do what I said, I find it perfect!
  13. did you try re-installing? i'm afraid it's the only solution, your KSP files may be corrupted and the only way to fix them is re-installing. so Re-install, check if the game works 100% with stock, then go to your craft you transferred, put it into saves -> VAB folder and try to launch it, if it launches just fine then it was KSP's files. if it exists then it's the craft file, IF the craft file has mods, try installing mods one by one, and test the game after every-installation. that way you will know what mod causes it if IT really does.
  14. Laythe has lower gravity, and also lower air-intake at higher altitudes than kerbin, but of course! if you have an SSTO and you can get it to orbit kerbin with a little fuel then it's fine, just send it to laythe but remember to put more air-intakes. and use action Groups to close/open them, that makes drag less, so at higher altitudes open them then just use rockets, but I guess you already know that! also, I'd say it's the same thing, on kerbin you have higher gravity but more air in higher altitudes, and laythe has a low gravity and less air intake at higher altitudes. Happy launching!
  15. Eeloo is not hard to get to, Eeloo just takes more fuel than any other planet, also more time even while time warping.. but inserting yourself into orbit and landing is easy, just a little bit more than the Mun.. anyway, I did go to Eeloo about 4 times, I just don't find it intresting, it's just a lonley.. icy.. very far.. white-ish planet ever..
  16. Hmmmm.. I remember back in .18, I made a spacestaion called ( Station X ).. Oh god I miss that SS.. was really big one, two shuttles and 6 docking ports, 2 landers and 2 kethane miners. I was sending a refuel craft to it so I can start my station around Moho ( Yep, bad choice, bad planet.. ) anyway, I docked the orange tank to the left port, and then sent another one to dock on the right port, so it will be balanced, I came really close to the Station docking and Suddenly the KRAKEN came and ripped my ship apart. I ripped my hair too. jumped 3 times on keyboard, ALT + F4 and turn off pc then go to sleep. ( I Usually ALT + F4 but if it's something really big and took me a long time to assemble I sleep.. ) x) So yeah, Docking with station but ripping it apart..
  17. Well, that's a really good target to get to! Ummm.. from my experience I'd say that Pol is the easiest place to go in the Jool system ( in Air-less moons + low gravity ) but hard to intercept, it's inclined orbit and low velocity makes it hard to intercept, but gravity, on the other hand is low, so you should take off with little golden LV-N engine, make it to orbit, rendezvous with your return vehicle and head back to kerbin. so here's the deal. I can send a whole space station ( Command module + solar panels with cubic structures and 4 docking ports, one storage module and kethane scanner ) to laythe in one launch and NO docking is required, so it's up to you, I personally can send up-to 20 ton vehicle to Jool system, the problem is getting it where you want it to be, I use aerobraking to get in Laythe SOI, that's a cheap way instead of wasting a lot of fuel ( 120000m is the ideal aerobraking to get in laythe SOI for who doesn't know.. ) So say you want to aero-brake and get in ORBIT around jool, not intercept or get in SOI of pol, is 140000m maybe? Idk maybe less, so this: 1. TRY to make your lander+return vehicle below 8 tons, if you've done that, you're safely home. 2. Use nuclear engines in your return vehicle. 3. Make a 350 ton rocket ( which is my average rocket mass, it can get you to jool. ) 4. the most important thing is you must be self-confident or you Just won't make it.. 5. try to Aero-brake in jool's atmosphere. 6. remember to quick save before every single step you THINK that something else will happen, that way you won't waste another 10 minutes.. 7. put your rendezvous vehicle in orbit, and try to land on the highest peak you see in map. ( a fart can get you above 5000 meters.. ) and I guess that's it, remember to be creative, have many tests, test your lander on minmus, because why not!
  18. I just Stick it in there, you can't put it vertical but if you put cubic thing horizontally, but no, I don't think it works better, it's the same thing. now this rover works 2000% better on other celestial bodies, minmus has a really low gravity and this rover performs really well, I tested on Duna and Mun, also laythe! you just set back, throttle up and then find yourself in other location..
  19. @ Brevillance, Thanks for your comment! I downloaded it and put it in my save file, tomorrow I will check it out, gotta go now! Also if I like it, maybe I can let YOU be my satellite designer!
  20. Make sure you build the rover wide. the wider, the more stable you will have, also make sure you bring the Center of Mass CLOSER to the ground and don't forget SAS module, so your rover won't tend to jump really high, remember to switch to docking mode! Some Pictures on minmus ( Which is the hardest place to rove.. after gilly.. ). Here my wide and low CoM rover, it can reach up-to 25m/s and won't bounce or even 'think' to slide ! And in this picture Reaching 23m/s. I hope I helped you, if so, replay to me!
  21. No, That's too much, I think my rockets are ready.. I hear some explosions back there!
  22. @Psycho529 - that's a really big satellite! but more than I wanted.. yours is HUGE but I only want big ! GPS thing is too complicated for me hahaha !
  23. @ Johnno - I like that probe, and yes, it's small and suitable for my Mun Mapping mission, could you upload craft file? @ Giggle - Honestly, they all look amazing and astounding! you're a great designer no doubt! but my favorite ones are the One that orbit's Duna and Jool, I love Voyager-Like Probes ( btw could you upload craft file for those 2? ). @ Spartwo - Same as others, cool-looking design but that's almost like that I make, I want something different, Like Johnno and giggle showed.
