  1. I just realized that scatterer effects are not working/enabled in the Tracking Station scene... so I'll have to re-verify my observations from above.
  2. The last composition where OPM, OPMVO, scatterer, and EVE all worked together as expected for me was on 1.3.0 (haven't tried 1.3.1). I've recently been testing a fresh install of 1.4.2 with no (complete) success so far. I think you can still get clouds onto gas giants if you tell scatterer to draw ontop of EVE clouds, as others pointed out, however the results I got this way are underwhelming compared to what I have with my 1.3.0 install. I can confirm a couple of other things mentioned in the thread: Thatmo configs apparently don't load at all (maybe others too, I haven't bothered to systematically cross-examine each satellite, it's just the visual difference for Thatmo is most striking) I observed a Sarnus satellite not going into its shadow in map view (might be broken even without OPMVO) Outer gas giant clouds don't work with EVE + scatterer Judging by the casual attitude of Poodmund, I'm guessing that it wouldn't be very hard to fix most of these, and it seems to me that "fixing" would mostly involve translating config files to the changed formats of the parent mods. If this is the case, I might take a shot at it myself, although I'm not very excited to load up KSP 15x in quick succession.
  3. I'm also on the edge on my seat for a fix for this, the stock-style OPM planets don't line up with EVE fidelity stock planets.
  4. Thank you for that. I was hopeful that you might look into it given that Unobtainium doesn't seem to have the same problem, so we know there is a way for GoldOre to work too.
  5. They are unmanned. I think you quoted my post by accident, my issue has nothing to do with heat or efficiency.
  6. This issue still persists. I have stock scanning disabled in SCANsat (default setting) and GoldOre scanning just doesn't work. For Unobtainium, the Big Map in SCANsat shows 0% everywhere on Kerbin, as expected, but there's just no data for GoldOre. Every other resource listed in that SCANsat dropdown menu works fine, just not GoldOre. I enabled stock scanning in SCANsat out of curiosity, and switched scenes, but there was no abundancy info on GoldOre there either, and the resource wasn't even listed in stock the body info menu, contrary to what someone else has reported previously. This is probably a result of having stock scanning off at the time of actually scanning the planet. Any chance of looking into this issue? I need a cash cow in my career at the moment, and I think I'll just uninstall this mod and use USI's resources instead, which is a shame, because it doesn't have a high investment/high reward resource like unobtainium
  7. Imagine my sadness when I noticed that this mod, one of my favourites for immersion, didn't work as expected with the concoction of 75 mods I got installed. I noticed the following things: I was using KerbalFoundries2 (ver 2.0.2.10) wheels They worked without a problem (or sound) on takeoff On landing they immediately produced sparks and caused a light to be emitted from the wheel, and the (in)appropriate collison sounds, however no tyresqueal.wav Strangely the light emission and sparksqueal.wav persisted even when I wasn't touching the ground after a slight bounce Overall, the metal screeching persisted for too long, even after coming to a full stop The skidding sound fit great when I turned sideways I hope someday fixes will be produced for these issues, as the mod is evidently partly functional, and to me it appears only config updates would be necessary to make this compatible with Kerbal Foundries (again), and to tighten up event detection. I'll be looking into the MM and other config files myself, maybe my problems can be alleviated by renaming required MM module names and such... EDIT: I noticed the KF wheels now lack ModuleWheelBase, or any other model described in the config, I'll try editing the config for CFX tomorrow and report the results.
  8. The 2.4.4 version is missing from the previous versions list. A shame, because I wanted to try this mod, and found that 3.1.1 disables itself in 0.25. Could you please add 2.4.4 to your repository?
  9. Using this in conjunction with Sane Strategies causes an access violation a couple of minutes after entering the Administration Building. The "crash" produces no output_log or crash.dmp, only an error.log and a blank report.ini ... I don't have to select or click anything, it just happens after browsing strategies without any particular input seemingly causing the crash.
  10. What about taking a look at the functionality of KAS attachment nodes instead of simply surface attaching your racks?
