  1. Generally, when one says "later" on a WEEKLY post, it is meant later in the week...not rolled into next weeks post. I'm not concerned, nor do I really care (though it is very interesting to hear about Harv's work-week), just sayin'...
  2. Agreed that he posted, but basically saying "I'm busy" isn't really a Dev Note. The original post said that Lalo and HarvesterR will have their dev notes in later in the week. I'm sure we all expect Harv to be busy....we want to know what he was busy doing (as is the intention of these Dev Note Tuesdays).

  4. Not only that, but it'd probably require a full re-coding of the game, since all assets are loaded at startup (including mods). Also, mods don't get much easier to install than for KSP: 1. Download Mod 2. Unzip Mod 3. Merge GameData folders or Drill into GameData folder in the Mod folder and copy the folder inside to your KSP GameData folder 4. ... 5. Profit They've stated for a long time that the Spaceport will eventually be integrated into the launcher so you can download/enable/disable addons directly from the launcher.

  6. Video was good, and I'm LOVING the look of the clouds. I'll download and try it out when available (or am I just missing the link?!?). I'm interested in the clouds (look SOO much better than the ones I currently have), rings, hot/cool rockets texture configs and new sounds!
  7. Exactly! That is why I haven't started my work on AIES Aerospace stuff as of yet. Extensive list of tanks and engines + full-time job + kids = NO TIME!!!

You would want to go into the CoolRockets folder in your install, copy one of the .cfg files (stock.cfg is probably best) and modify all the stock.cfg in the NEW file (the copy of the orig one) to conform with all the proper engines and tanks you have installed. This will likely require you to go into the other .cfg (for the parts) to find out the name they were coded as. Edit the stock.cfg file in the CoolRockets install to see what you're in for. I plan to try to get this working for AIES Aerospace tanks and engines, but have not had enough time to dig in as of yet. IF you do this, it might also be advisable to separate out all the different MOD packs into different .cfg files (something like KW_Rocketry_CoolRockets.cfg, AIES_Aerospace_CoolRockets.cfg, B9_CoolRockets.cfg, etc...). It would make it easier for anyone else who'd like to use one of your specific configs (if you plan on making them available for the community).

  11. +1 for this. Toolbar support would be most excellent. Love the mod, it replaced ISA MapSat for me immediately when I found it!
  12. I think I may have found a small bug in this most excellent mod. On my first ever flight when using, I took my kerbal on EVA from the launch pad to gather SCIENCE! I ended up running all the way to the shores to grab myself an EVA report and a surface sample from the shores. I then ran back to my vessel (just the Command Pod mk1) and jumped in and recovered. Jeb got himself 2 ribbons, First Kerbin Surface EVA and Splashdown Ribbon. I then took Bob and repeated the experiment. He got the Kerbin Surface EVA (not First, as intended) and Splashdown. Assuming that I'm not supposed to be getting the splashdown ribbon, as no vessel was actually splashed down, just the kerbal.
  13. OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) is a decent free alternative to FRAPS and has no recording or streaming limit AFAIK. I used to use it when streaming to TwitchTV. You can download that at the OBS website: http://obsproject.com/
