  1. For some reason, my re-entries in the Real Solar System mod + FAR are pretty much always + 20gs, and this is only from the sub-orbital flights i did to test the mod, @ around 4000 ms. This generally means death for all kerbals involved, and sometimes the parts also exploding. Ideas?
  2. Naming is the hardest thing for me. These days, my LVs go by the names Electron, Lightning, Thunder, Thor, Zeus (in increasing order of power) I tend to use similarly themed names for similar spacecraft/missions.

  4. @Nathan: Yes, I was tracking delta v expenditure. It was gravity losses in the end, because I ended up turning a little too late for the new resized Kerbin So... I've run into a bug. I got some small satellites into orbit, I decided to get some kerbals up there. However, the launch clamps just can't hold the new, larger rocket and it falls over. I've never seen the launch clamps fail. Ideas?
  5. Yep, you were right, gravity losses. I turned earlier and got into orbit with about 9 km/s. Thanks!
  6. OK, this is my first post, so if I miss some Kerbal custom, cut me some slack This mod is amazing. First time in ages that getting even a small probe to orbit is hard
