  1. " Also, I'm pretty sure this thread Also, I'm pretty sure this thread would be better suited to General would be better suited to General Discussion as opposed the Fan Discussion as opposed the Fan Works section. Works section." I'm pretty new to the forums so I'm not completely sure what goes where, I shall bear that in mind for future posts though
  2. So today I docked these two behemoth space station parts together using nothing but sas torque, nerva engines and my nav ball, I was pretty impressed and it led me to wonder. What's the biggest thing you've ever docked in awkward circumstances?
  3. Ah makes sense now. I'll make sure to use this knowledge to make pages look pretty with explosions!
  4. Ok I'm a complete newbie at this forum so don't shout at me! I have been wanting to add screenshots of my KSP shenanigans to several community discussions and I have come across a problem, I don't know how to add images. Ok slight lie there I do but only via URL. I have seen on posts actual image's and also only URL's, and was wondering does using the "Insert Image" button add the image or just post the URL? If it only add's the URL how do I add an actual image?? Cheers, Danerdygeek.
  5. How much fuel did you have left in your lander? It is definitely easier in my experience to dock craft or at least eva between the two than to land within a 10 k radius, much more fuel efficient also.
  6. I'm unsure if It's 5K off the terrain or 5K from sea level, if it's the latter then 5K would be useful seeming as the mountain ranges in some planets and/or moons would extend above 2.5 thousand ft making sure you have plenty of room for error, which seeming as the operation is run by Kerbal's, is a very valuable asset
  7. You could if you used multiple pi's and linked them up to a controller unit (don't actually know what they are called), It's basically a not so super super computer!
  8. I attempted to build Scott Manleys usual craft with the Nerva engine, and as usual, it fell off....
  9. I made a sci-fi style frigate using the b9 aerospace mod, then landed it on minmus after crashing numerous times. Lovley kerbin-rise there :3
  10. Being a 16 year old (I like l science and maths also) I think Basic orbiting would be the obvious first challenges. But after a week or so I was landing on minmus and orbiting Sol (Kerbins Sun). If my experience is anything just sit him down and tell him to try not to kill anyone, that should take him long enough!!
